Steamgirls member Karen Tsukimiya, age 17, passed away in what is being called an accident in July, 2014.

Tsukimiya had been taking a break from the group for several months to treat depression and anxiety.  She reported to fans that she wanted to perform again, and therefore would not graduate from the group.  However, she'd had yet to return from her hiatus.

On September 8th, 2014, Tsukimiya's father alerted her agency that she had passed away in July.  It is unclear what the cause was, and is so far being referred to as an accident.  There is also no word on why her death was only brought to her agency's attention two months later.

Her photo and profile has been removed from the group's website, but Tsukimiya's father has asked that her blog and Twitter be left up for now.

Karen Tsukimiya, nicknamed Karenchan, was known for wearing thick-rimmed glasses, a trait that is atypical for Idols.  Her official color was dark pink, and she was also a member of the Alice Project subgroups White☆Milk and Soup☆Girls.

Steamgirls are an Idol group associated with Alice Project.  They are the second group formed in the project, with the theme of Steampunk, and perform regularly at the P.A.R.M.S Theater in Akihabara, Japan.  They have released 13 limited CD Singles since their debut in 2012, which are only sold in their theater.

I don't wanna create sense but I read on another fourm that maybe it was bully ! and from the way the cover it up and her being only 17 and have depression it very likely to be it ... but their is no evidence and the group is not that well known so their is not possible way to know what really happen anyway lets make her death memorable she didn't even have chance to live her dream RIP , it sadden me she is only 17 :(
