Its entertaining how some salty fans when presented by digital receipts can easily say "digitals are not everything", "plenty more consideration though" and all in between but can bluntly conclude base on physical sales. /hypocrisylevelepicbaes

 

But then again, Apink is yet to outsold 2NE1 on gaon, where plenty of more stores/retailers are considered in the counting system, regarding 2ne1's domestic appeal also, specifically domestic music listeners, 2NE1 outsold every idol group this year with their digital figures of 5.3m downloads for Crush alone, this is very big especially if we put into consideration the next figure that followed the amazing numbers by 2neyglobalsuperstars1 which is at around 1.7m+ downloads from SNSD?. 2NE1 is also nearing to conclude another asian tour with over predictably 160k *not verified* attendees while the later group is yet to have a solo concert of their own. And 2NE1 breaking the BILLBOARD record from TTS as the Highest Charting Kpop group in Billboard 200 at 64/63 teases us with their international and western appeal/popularity.

 

btw, this is such an unfair comparison, Apink is popular in their own ways and is definitely rising at pace. 

 

 

But lbr either the question is who's more popular today or a year ago,its always been 2NE1, at least for now.  deal with it because numbers/achievements don't lie.

2NE1 ofcourse.. Only delulu said Apink is more popular than 2ne1.. Apink might be the trend but 2ne1 is with Soshi at level WALL THAT YOU CAN'T CLIMB where they have popularity with Public & Fandom.. Plus they are group that bring different style of music that far from Korean taste while Apink only can bring a SUPER GENERIC song & style.

For their last tour (on going tour they had so far 19 concerts and attendance  is around 161 k not 250k. So if they want to reach 250k they will  need another 9 concerts with 10k each . 

 

 

but overall 2ne1 > Apink and i dont get whats with Apink fans

i was actually just predicting, thank you for the correction. but i hope some expert could verify it, not a bad number though.

im telling u unless they have at least 9 other concerts with attendance aroud 10k it wont reach 250k.

 

Their attendance for this tour was mostly around 8k. Beside ph concert and yokohama. Thailand concert wasnt even 2ne1 solo but Tofu music festival so id doesnt count. Taipei concetr was 8k for 2 concert meaning 4k per attendance

i already changed it. i think it might rise a bit considering they still have few/one remaining concerts and hopefully add more dates/venues.

Apink is not that known internationally yet (there's a gap between Apink's Youtube views and 2ne1's). Apink, like Sistar, is popular in mostly only Korea, and is still improving. 2ne1 still has the bigger fandom, and is still the second/third girl group with the largest fandom internationally.
