Would you mind taking your wife's name? For Gay people your Husband's/Wife's

I don't like Hyphen names, I get the first generation but what about the second one, does the person have three or fours parts to their last? I don't like it. If I did get "married" or whatever, I'd prefer it if we took the same last name, I don't know how we'd decide it but I would never want a hyphen name

Well, if I actually married someone, then I don't think I would mind taking my wife's name either - I mean, I'd rather run a marathon naked while singing Fascist songs from start to finish than get married, taking the last name of another person is a far less terrifying prospect than marriage or naked far-right marathons in my opinion. :3

yes I would mind. I'll be damned if I let my stupid conservative cousin be the last Stephen.

I'm sure there are other decent people with that last name, even though they might not be related to you in any way. She'll be the last member of your family with that surname regardless of whether you'll get married or not anyway, if you'll die before her - since you hate children as much as I do, the future of your family is as conservative as a billionaire oil baron. :P

I meant my male cousin. female cousins would take their husband's names of course

there's still hope, he could hate kids too and then I could adopt one and beat him out

Not necessarily. ...still, if they're conservative enough (and they are) they would.

Given how much of a brain-dead, racist prick my sister is, we're in the same boat. There might be a simple way to solve both of our "last decent member of their family" problems at the same time but, well, it's a "solution" that would leave a poor, innocent child mentally scarred for life, and would surely end with us being targeted by the child protective services of two different countries, so... I'm not even going to think about it. XD

Why not both of them? And that's never going to happen anyway, I'm not really husband material and, as I said before, I don't want any kid or person my own age to go insane because of me. U_U Such desperate measures only have to be adopted in desperate times - or, not at all.

I don't really care about it so I could if needed. I guess it depends on whether I liked the name or not.

I would want my kids to at least have my last name in there too though, since I'm the last of my name.
