August was by far the busiest month of the year. I personally thought it was great.. I felt like I was more invested this year than past years and August was one of the best..

Music

1) Super Junior - Mamacita.. SUPER JUNIOR!!! LEETEUK!!!! HEECHUL!!! <3 The song was good the Album was amazing and they all looked freakin flawless!! I hoped for something.. more extravagant since its their first comeback in a really long time.. but all in all they were amazing.. This comeback made me realize how underrated Ryeowook actually is..

 

2) Kara - Mamma Mia..  I was very skeptical about this comeback since it marked their first promotion after Jiyoung & Nicole left and Youngji joined.. not to mention having their title track be produced by duble sidekick.. I thought it wont be like the Kara i knew and loved.. but much to my surprise .. the song turned out to be very Kara Like.. and by Kara Like I mean Catchy as hell!! and Youngji fit in quite nicely.. After a few times of listening to it & watching the MV I actually forgot that she was a new member.. I really liked this comeback! and I'm anticipating the new K4RA!!

 

3) Jay Park - The Promise.. Jay Park is hands down my favorite KPOP soloist.. The only one that could dethrone him of this title is G Soul.. Which will be debuting soon *fingers crossed* anyway.. This is yet another solid release from the amazing Jay Park <3

 

4) Secret - I'm In Love.. Secret are back!!!! they got rid of their cutesy concepts (hopefully forever) and were amazing the song was good the album was good and the MV was amazing.. they really are all gorgeous!

 

5) Red Velvet - Happiness.. Say what you want about these girls.. But you really can't deny how freakin catchy Happiness was.. I really liked the song and they are so freakin pretty! I am anticipating them! especially Seulgi!!!

 

Honorable Mentions

 

Since we had pretty amazing releases I decided to add a special mention of other songs I liked in August.. Although I'm not gonna lie this month was probably completely dominated by HA:TFELT's Album.. I loved it so much to the extent of buying 10 copies of the Album!!! 10!!!Her album was flawless and beautiful and Mess at the Korean audience for not recognizing her greatness !!! 1) Running Man

Running Man this month felt like a tribute to SM Town & JYP Nation! lol Almost every episode featured a idol from SM or JYP!

• Episode 207 was a special episode to make Ji Sukjin win since he only won twice out of the 200 episodes.. it featured Heechul.. it was alright..
• Episode 208 featured Suzy as the only guest.. Suzy was cute as always! and I liked the Jaesuk/Kwangsoo duo! lol the hopelessness was beyond satisfying!
• Episode 209 was the highlight of the month! it was the original vs new idols! Moon Heejun was so hilarious that he made me go back and watch every episode he is in.. In Happy Together, Hello Counselor and everything.. Taemin was awesome too!
• Episode 210 was so hyped from the trailer but I was disappointed when I watched it.. It still featured Yeeun, Sunmi, Jia, Chansung & Wooyoung.. But I wanted them to be guests rather than just cameos! my girls did look beautiful tho..
• Episode 211 featured Seulong from 2AM! and I think I became a fan of Ji Changwook after this episode.. hes so adorably stupid <3
   

2) After School Club

 

2 Words.. 15& Jimin.. This girl is out of control!!!! I love her so much! she is hilarious and wild and so so so cute!!! I love her and watched all the episodes for her as well!

 

3) Real Got7 Season 2

If you are interested in getting to know these boys.. Watch this show.. It really shows you how they are behind the scenes.. They are awesome.. All they need now is the right song!
 

4) Hitmaker

 

This show made me a fan of Sungjae and N! before this I didnt really like them! but they were funny and charming! but the one that stole the show is definitely Wang Kong! he is definitely one of a kind!!

 

5) Weekly Idol

 

Weekly Idol this month had Hyuna & Big Byung.. They were pretty funny! the hosts do get on my nerves sometimes but all in all they were cool!

 

6) Fashion King Korea 2 finally started! but sadly I could only find the Sunmi cuts! :( she is so cute and in her own world! I hope I'll be able to find the whole episode subbed!

 

7) Happy Together

Still no cooking segment.. :\ But the Jaesuk/Myungsoo/Shinyoung combo is amazing!!! I love them! the guests were not that interesting this month but the whole thing was heaps of fun!!

woo girl sorry..I only do that for few groups too much time if I stan alot of groups...

 

 

Only groups I pay that much attentiont too are: TVXQ, JYJ, EXO, SHINee and BTS (Big Bang int here cause they RARELY go on V Shows..and they haven't had a comeback in like forever..I pay attention to their solos tho)
