Jung Suk Won explains his wife's condition after her miscarriage

Actor Jung Suk Won made his first public appearance since the unfortunate news of his wife, Baek Ji Young's miscarriage. 

 

Jung Suk Won arrived at the Museum Wedding Hall in Yongsangu, Seoul on the 28th to attend the press conference for his upcoming film, 'N.L.L.-Battle of Yeonpyeong', which is set to premiere later this year.

 

Concerning the miscarriage, Jung Suk Won shared, "I am thankful that many have given encouraging words...Although I am thankful for the support, I can't speak on behalf of my wife. That concerns our personal matters so I have nothing more to say." 

 

Baek Ji Young is currently taking 3 months to rest and is keeping herself surrounded by her husband, family, and friends.

 

Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won previously announced the news of their expectancy and tied the knot on the 2nd. The newlywed couple also postponed their honeymoon to focus on the health of Baek Ji Young and her expectant newborn.

 

However, she went to the hospital early morning on the 27th because she was feeling pains in her abdomen, and then was hospitalized after her miscarriage.

 

Her label said, "She's going to be taking a break from all activities for about 3 months." She and Jung Suk Won had originally planned a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nevada for early July, but those plans will most likely be put to a hold as well.
