Mix&Match never fails to make me angst.

 

They corrected ENL quite heavily, sounded rather weird to my ears lol >.< And did Hongseokkie really mess up the ending of his falsetto? Need to go back to watch the fancams.

 

Only 1 line for SINOSIJAK, but the song was a jam and he sounded great in that 1 line

Wish he had more lines, and more lines w. junhoi 'cause their voices are really good.

 

Did my part and voted, time to wait for the inevitable.

if mnet edited it so that it seems like he did, then there truly is no end to their evil editing. 

it's sad because they invest so much time & effort into making people like chanwoo sound kinda decent

poor kid, i'm not sure i want him to be in ikon anymore. he needs a group that will appreciate his talents, not hide them with heavy editing & pure dodginess.

Was originally into the whole #JusticeforHongseok thing to help drum up general positive hype for Hongseok so that his post-YG singing future will be smoother, but the ENL fancams and Junhoe+Hongseok vocal OTP gave me hope & desire for something more... And then comes M&M EP 7 & 8. Lolnope, and now I'm back to just #JusticeForHongseok for Hongseok himself only, unrelated to getting him into iKON cos boy don't deserve to be continually treated like crap.

personal bias wants him int Jellyfish Entertainment since there're super-esteemed ballad-sunbaes(Sung Si Kyung, Park Hyo Shin, Brian Joo previously as well) and JE is really good to their artists -- they stuck with VIXX even though VIXX were complete nugus all the way till their 3/4th comeback. PLUS! JE hasn't had a solo newbie since Seo In Guk five years ago.

Hope he had a good talk with Jinhyeong (there were rumours that spotted them hanging out tgt before the reveals). The two of them understand what the other is going through the most rn. Not too worried about Hongseok since he's got good brains and good family = good safety net should he retire from entertainment-dom and go back to a normal-er life.

 

If he chooses to continue on this path though, I'll continue to look forward to him and support him ^^ Am selfishly hoping that this is the case :P

Hongseokkie fighting! Don't be too hard on yourself, you tried hard and you did well.

 

P.S. YG let go of Hongseok pls, ty. You two obviously aren't good fit for each other, so let him go to LOEN/CJ/JE/Mystic88. Thanks :D

No news yet. YG likes to space out his mediaplay slightly :P

 

Here's another screencap. Was trying to get a full-body one since I noticed that there aren't many of him, but couldn't find anything particularly nice (He got more airtime in the final EP, but a lot of it was random cuts to his face / his interview segments or shots that my lousy SS skills couldn't get T_T)

 

Someone with better screencap/actual gif skills please gif that very very very brief snippet where they were meeting their parents and he somewhat in the background tiptoeing/waving his arms looking around for his family. The meerkat semblance was strong is strong with this one :P

XD yeah. Chanwoo said that one/some of the snacks could only be bought from some specific place that was pretty far away. (Sry watched with CN subs so idk the name of the place in english)

Did Chanwoo come to SG? How did he get these snacks? 

Didn't watch M&M.

He probably got it from some specialty store that's in some out of the way location. (like in SG if you want random JP stuff you'll go Daiso rather than your neighbourhood's NTUC)

I'm thinking that LTNS's lyrics are probably more appropriate for him than SINOSIJAK...

As in his feeling as of now are probably closer to the lyrics of LTNS than SINOSIJAK...

Hongseokkie's hands are prettier than mine 

well. he made his decision, as a fan, I can only support it.

Read on tieba that after Hyunseung was eliminated YGE reps said something similar? (Hyunseung would continue to stay under YGE as a trainee. When he'll debut, or whether he'll change companies, depends on his own effort and choice.) As we all know he ended up changing companies when an opportunity presented itself. Let's hope a similar opportunity arises for Hongseokkie. (I have 0 belief that YGE has any actual intentions to debut Hongseok. 0.)

I don't believe YG will debut hongseok either... Just watching mix and match showed enough evidence that YG really didn't want to. Hopefully other companies call him up while he is training. He can use the time to improve his dancing and confidence with the stage. I don't know about their vocal training though. Someone posted on twitter that bom and dara debut at age 24 or something? Is that true :o hopefully it doesn't take that long but i guess he has more time than i thought. Hopefully a company was viewing the trending articles on naver or viewing m&m or something and takes an interest in Hongseok. I sound very positive but i'm really unsure about his debut chances :(

 

=o I knew Dara was pretty old, didn't think she was that old. (wiki says she's 29 this year O.O) Bless her pretty baby face that 2NE1's stylists keep trying to ruin lol.

 

Can't really blame us for our sense of urgency though; feels as if Kpop groups these days all consist of fetuses. >_>

 

It's alright to be optimistic; Hongseok has the ability and determination for success, coupled with the beginnings of the fanbase he somehow managed to acquire despite the mess that was M&M, all he needs now is a little bit of luck >.< I just really dun like YGE for someone who's more vocalist than stage-presence like Hongseok. YGE will do wonders for the latter, but Hongseok could use some improvement in the former too.

 

As a fan I don't know what I can do to help make the Hongseok hype a persistent thing that won't fade after a month or two though... ): (generally I take a more straightforward approach to showing my support, by buying albums when my bias groups release them, but I have no clue as to what I should do as a fan of a trainee. Maybe I need to take some lessons from them SM-trainee fans)

To me, in the short term at least, Chanwoo's face is synonymous with biased editing. Yeah. 

 

Hmmm idk either, I'm new to being a hardcore fan; usually I just watch my not-succeeding biases flop around. *cough* ZE:A*cough*Mr.Mr.*cough*

 

Do these companies have social media or anything? Instead of doing it formally via email, tweet at them instead maybe? (My main issue with emailing is that the audition contact info is primarily/specifically for those who want to audition to contact the company; whereas social media is a general platform for interaction with public/fans where anything goes) Plus the chances of talent scouts being completely oblivious to M&M is somewhat unlikely, we just need to show that Hongseok has fans and what better way to do that than through social media?
