Do you have faith that our Generation can run the world?

The G.I Generation (1920's & 1930's) are almost all dead 

 

The Baby Boomers (40's - 60's) are all getting old and retiring 

 

Right now the world is being run by Generation X (those born 1960's - 1980). They hold most managerial positions, political offices, executive seats etc. 

 

I'm going to assume most everyone on this site is a part of Generation Y aka The Millennials (1980 - 2000). The oldest of this generation are in their early 30's and the youngest are starting High School. 

 

Within the next 10 - 15 years, Generation X will start retiring and our Generation will hold almost all of the political seats, managerial positions etc. 

 

 

So do you have faith that our Generation will do a good job once we hold all the power? We are seen as coddled brats who are self-indulged and can't live without technology.

Interest in politics in our generation is really low...most people nowdays go for careers like accountants, doctors, and etc...

but there's always going to be the few in each generation that have leadership qualities...so yeah, we should be fine.

No it won't.  Everything has already been messed up by the people born circa WWI-WWII, along with the adults in the 80-90s. 
I mean in the past people messed with CFCs, now we don't. We'd just continue improving on the current.. situation and trust that no one is as ignorant to start a war.
