Mcountdown coz Beast only won once there during Good Luck :derp:

Music Core is fine I guess as long as you have good digital points (w/e you call it)? Beast already won twice without promoting their pre-releases on there so I guess it doesn't even need physical sales.

Inkigayo is quite good if you have great YT views from what I observe? It seems like it counts a lot towards SNS points which is 3.5k. Beast always lost in that category for their nominated pre-releases even if they get full marks for sales - 6k. :lol:

I don't really know how Music Bank works. It seems like it's advantageous for those who have at least decent physical album sales as well as for those who have lots of broadcast points (however that works).

*I'm just basing this from observation during Beast' recent comeback*

Depends on what groups are good at.  But if you aren't terribly good digitally, Inkigayo is doable in your first week if you place top 10 Gaon and have the best MV views and a reasonably good fandom for voting.  And if you're weak digitally but can move massive numbers of physical albums in a week where others aren't doing the same thing, MuBank is kind of easy.

I still hold ShowChamp to be a random black box and MCD to be weird if they're still going by the MNet chart, which is often different from other charts.

I think MuCore is the show that tends to require one to be well-rounded.

What's MuCore's requirements now? Last time I checked it was digital, YT views, and I think physical, but I could be confusing it some other one.

Physical Album + Digital Sales 60%, Music Video Views 10%,

Viewers Committee Pre-voting (by 2000 people) 15%, Live Voting 15% (for 1st place nominees only)

Oops, I guess I was thinking of MCD or maybe a previous system for MuCore.  But MCD digital scores can be so... individual that I remember that rather than everything else. >.>;;;

Anyhow, MuCore is still harder than Inki or MuBank for a moderate digital charter to win.

So what's the difference between these two? I've been wondering for a while.

I think the one shame about MuCore doing awards is that I don't think we'll see groups close out the show like they did in the past, like with SNSD's Genie on the roof.

Well the prevote occurs before the show and it's limited to 2000 ppl, max points 1500 for the leader in this category, and since it's before the show along with the other categories it determines who the final 3 are who might actually win.  (I have no idea what the selection process for the 2000 ppl is.)  And the live voting is during the show, dunno if it's via text (that you have to pay for) or online or what, but obviously that's not capped at 2000 ppl (and possibly not at 1 vote per person/phone number), and the leader in this category also gets 1500 points.

I honestly barely watch these shows, even for my favorite groups. XD  Except for comeback weeks and specials if they do covers and stuff.  Ah well....
