Ok so here's my letter to you all:
 
Since it's the ELF anniversary I thought I'd write this.
 
I've known most of you for a year now. Last year during the anniversary I wasn't close to you guys so I didn't really feel right celebrating. But this year just thinking about all that time I've spent with all of you, and all the memories I've made, makes me cry. It's been a year and I say this from the bottom of my heart: I love all of you.
 
I know it's cheesy and whatever but it's true. All the laughter and fun you guys have brought in my life is amazing. Even though we all live in opposite ends of the world we share so many commonalities it's amazing to see. I don't regret meeting any of you and I don't regret spending all that time with you all. All my flawless ajummas and the ones younger then me, I love each and everyone. To the people I might not know so well I hope I get to know you guys soon.
 
All the thanks does go to SJ though. When I first started liking them I had no idea it would bring me to you guys. I should thank them for just being there and being flawless which made me become a fan and then slowly led me to H8 and now here.
 
When I first got into SJ in 2009 I didn't know any ELF. I was kinda alone during most of the time I was spazzing for SJ. I use to go on the youtube videos and interact with the ELF on there. I was scared to go on AKP mainly since I didn't know if I'd like it much. Then one day I remember stalking AKP and somehow it led me to H8 and I thought instead of lurking I would post. I was so nervous posting but you guys welcomed me so warmly I was really touched. 
 
I was still trying to get use to everything so I didn't post much until June-ish I think. I remember getting to know all of you and tbh I was in an awe with how you guys could handle haters. I know everytime Aicha or Atly or Millie would answer someone I was shocked how greatly they could answer the haters and shut them up. I wasn't use to seeing so many haters mainly since youtube haters were trolls anyway. I was scared I wouldn't know how to handle it all. So I learned, I never said this since it's embarrassing, but I looked up to some of you a lot. Well I still look up to most of you. 
 
Then as time progressed I learned that most of you were crazy. Crazy in the sense that everyone was loud and hyper and would talk about the most random things. Sometimes I would wonder how any of you could do a 360 like that. But still I loved it all regardless because of all the laughter it brought me.
 
I know we disagree sometimes or whatever but I know we all still love each other.
 
You know it's funny when people say how you can love a group of singers so much but we understand what SJ has been through and what they mean to us. SJ means so much to all of us. With their talents and their music and their laughter they can bring together all types of people from all over the world. And that's just another reason to love them. For bringing me such amazing friends, that help me, share laughter with me, and share sorrows with me, I've never met any of you but I will cherish you all forever.
 
So thank you to SJ for making me an ELF and then wanting to take the first step in making ELF friends. And thank you all for being such a flawless bunch that I absolutely adore and look up to and will cherish forever. 
 
And thank you to all ELF all over the world really, for being with SJ for 7 years. Through all the fun times and tears I know ELF will be there for SJ forever.
 
 
I'm sure that we'll have many more anniversaries together. Love you ELF <3

i am not so well with words like aicha and i oft sucks and lost in discussion coz engl is not my first language.
i cant tell what i really mean and feel.. (i ever need dictionary to translate, it sucks)
 
I dont know u and many of ELF here not long. and i wasnt here on the last anni. i also like to lurk in H8 but never had an acc and never was posting. I started really late. 
 
So i know how u feel.. coz i had the same problem.. 
 
Sometimes i regret dont post earlier on H8, and that i dont know u all better. 
 
even if we had some disagree i am thansfull that i am here with all of u. Even if i was sometimes mad at u, i never regret to have meet u. I am enjoy every day with u and was feeling lost as H8 went down tbh. I thought i lost u.. I dont wanna lose u.. no one of u.. 
 
I know some are maybe mad at me and at my opinion but i thankfull that no one ever tell me to go and u deal with me..

IM SO OBSESSED WITH SUPER JUNIOR AGAIN <333 

 

guys i think i have a selective memory, litterally and not in its virtuel meaning
i can remember things that happened like 20 years ago, i have blurry memories from when i was 3 years old and i can clearly remember scenes from my 1st year in school (5y/o) and even before. i can remember entire discussions from like 10 to 15 years ago with details etc
but at the same time, i can't remember more than half the names of people that studied me in Uni (2 years ago), i can't remember phone numbers, adress' numbers, i meet some people and i know for sure that i know them, they recognize me and greet me but i can't remember who they are or how we know each other and at work i can't function w/o post it papers plastered everywhere

Having a selective memory sucks. I sort of have one.

Late, but Happy 7th Anniversary ELF!
 
I would write something, but it would probably turn out quite long and sappy, so I'll spare everyone. I just want to say that I'm thankful that I found SJ and became an ELF, because their music and all around craziness has helped to keep me sane when things get crazy. Also, if it hadn't of been for them, I never would have met any of you. You guys never fail to make me laugh and even though I don't know some of you very well, I'm still glad to have met each and every one of you. We can have intense debates, disagreements and bully each other, but we can also stick together, joke around about so many different things and help each other at the same time. I hope none of that ever changes and that we can continue to share in all of this together. <3
 

I hope some of that made sense, considering my brain is still half asleep from the nap I had.

Wanted to say happy 7th Anniversary to you all. I remember discovering SJ in 2008 along with SHINee. My first SJ song was Don't Don and I immediately fell for the song. My friend had put it on a CD for me to listen to and I was sold. I had no idea who they were and never really bothered to ask my friend either. It wasn't until 2009 when I really got into Kpop after discovering 2NE1 that I looked them up. I was the dumbest person ever and used Sorry Sorry to try and identify them all. XD It wasn't until the end of 2010 that I ended up on 6T and 2011 when i first started talking to you all. I think it's been about a year and a half maybe even 2 already for knowing some of you.
 
I can sincerely say that being an ELF has been some of my best years. You guys are a very level headed and happy bunch. i really wouldn't want it any other way. You all are some of the best online friends I've ever met and it's such a gift to have met you all especially when we're spazzing about SJ and basically just everything in general. We've had ou ups and downs but we've always come out on top to support every single person in SJ whether they are MIA or not apart of the group anymore. 
 
Again happy 7th Anni! We've made it this far so let's make it go farther ^_^

well, to make this short and simple, you know what guys? we are simply the absolute best tbh lol
seriously, even though i am a huge fan of SJ and my feelings toward them never flattered over the years
but, i dont think i would have been able to keep being a part of the fandom in the sence of keep calling myself an ELF and associating myself with the fandom if it wasnt for all of you proving all the generalizations about ELF million ligh years far from the truth.
we surpassed being fellow fans to being actual friends, who said you can't make friends in the interent? guess what we just did!
i will never forget how Auta, helped me do researches about a company i have an interview with when my connection was so slow to do it myself, or how Gracie backed strawberry cup cakes for my birthday and sung happy birthday in 3 languages and sent the video to me, or how Auta and Sari recorded their voices singing HD to me in their languages, or how all of you congratulated me each in their own way, or how all of you bore with my mood swings, listened to me when i needed, gave me advices, bullied me, made me laugh in my darkest times and made me feel better about myself.
i really love all of you guys and i am thankful for Super Junior because they were the reason i am right here now with all of you. 
let's make this not an end but an and~

Trap is awesome. I don't mind Taemin or Kyu in the song. Kyu's part was a little weird.. but I liked it. Can't wait to hear the English & Chinese versions. I haven't listened to the rest of the album yet though because I'm lazy. ._.

And idk about the other days but apparently some SJ members went to show support for him on Inki.   

Is it just me or have the SuJu boys gotten quite a bit thinner?  I notice it the most in Henry and Kyuhyun and Kangin (he's not a surprise though given that he's actively dieting).  Mochi and Kyu look much thinner than earlier this year (Henry almost unhealthily so, Kyu almost as much as his Bonamana days) --- wonder if it's their schedules or if they were told to / decided to lose weight?
 
If Kyu is dieting to lose those thighs and bum he's so self-conscious about, good luck to him / good thing for us he won't be able to   I do like that his face/chin is more defined again.

It's not just you. A lot of them look so much thinner.
 
I'm a little sad because the majority look better with a little weight imo but if they're happy.

Hello too~  I've been here for a few days and just wanted to introduce myself in the SuJu thread.
 
My biases in SuJu are Kyuhyun, Donghae, Siwon, and Heechul --- biggest by far is Kyuhyun for amazing voice, funny / witty on-screen personality, awkward/cuteness in dancing and interacting with others as well as being easy on the eyes 
 
Heechul I love also for his onscreen personality and "IDGAF" attitude and massive androgynous prettiness
 
Donghae seems like a cute puppy and I love how he interacts with other SuJu guys, and Siwon is model-hot and I really liked his acting in King of Dramas, plus I like how modest he is about his money and looks.

They make Fun and Variety of it, but its not that funny. as i remember that Hangeng was get hurt and fainted in water while an similar show. So i am happy nothing bad happend this time.. It hurts a lot to tough the water wrong.

They have put up with so much unnecessary bullshit from this fandom and now when it seems SM is finally pushing them out more.. we get to read wonderful things such as this. They do not deserve to be called guest members. It's amazing how they can even twist the positive and PROM15E things the members say to fit what they want.

It's obvious SM is never going to add them as official members thanks to ELF and their oh so kind protests. So why bother with a damn petition. Ugh.

Sure, why not.

 

I'm not sure of which musical direction or my reasons but I think a Sungmin, Kangin, & Shindong subunit would be nice. I think all three of them are sort of underrated musically and it would be nice to get them out there.
