Si Woo and Director lady are the only reasons why i'm watching this drama. Rain is a good actor but his character sucks so much I can't even. Krystal should also stop leading Myungsoo on, it's pretty obvious since ep 3 that he likes her and she should tell Si Woo that she's with Rain even though it makes -100% sense.

That's going to happen on Ep. 12. A little too late if you ask me. Si Woo wouldn't be where he is now if she told him clearly she was not interested a long time ago. She more than likely won't even be called out on her crap.

Hyun Wook, like all CEOs in drama, regressed in terms of maturity, and now we have him acting out in his emotional turmoil or whatever, choosing to run away together with Se Na as a way to avoid the truth when that's obviously not going to work and it just reeks of unnecessary melodrama by the script, act like a child when "sick", and go all 16 year old high school lovey boy on a plastic ring Se Na gave him. That's totally a man.

Meanwhile Se Na comes off as a smitten teenager, not a woman, who's world revolves around Hyun Wook. Other than the friend she lives with, which she has to speak to since, well, she lives with her and her boyfriend, she finds no interest in making connections with anyone else and is perfectly fine when Hyun Wook orders her (as her "boss") to not speak to anyone at AnA previously. As I said before (and still hold unto, cause because I see nothing that has changed my mind). The only reason why she even has a companion in Si Woo is due to Si Woo himself. Otherwise, she looks like she'll be mighty happy and satisfied only having Hyun Wook in her life. She's gotten so boring too. In the earlier episodes, she was more lively and plucky, mellow, but still had some...spark. Now the mellowness has turned her bland as episodes go by. I can't connect with her, she has no personality anymore.

Hae Yoon, for all her past pathetic, annoying mess, is more preferable to me.

I honestly find the second leads a lot more interesting, dynamic, and sympathetic. Both are the underdogs, and I find myself pitying them and their plight while continuing to slowly not care for the leads. We all know they're going to end up together anyway and I don't even think the secret being revealed will have such an impact on Se Na to be honest. She's too far up Hyun Wook's ass for that. Of course, there's a possibility that I'm wrong, but even then, it'll probably be an episode or two of pointless angst before the inevitable still happens, so.

just read the written description for episode 12. dramas sure make studying abroad seems so easy....I'm jealous.

(but then again I'm always jealous of Sena+other lead characters, they're poorer than me but have better phones and clothes than me......)

I feel bad for Si Woo and Director Lady. Director Lady should just totally work at other guys company and destroy AnA. Si Woo should stop talking to Se Na and just do his own thing. Also he should change composers, he should get the hell and far away from Se Na, her leading him on is so disgusting.

^it's quite catchy, but the short version is catchier. maybe it's because I'm used to listen to the one that Myungsoo sang.

Hey, guys. I just watched the 9th episode... my goodness, I'm starting to hate Hyun Wook. Some of his decisions make so angry.

Let me explain: He's smart, but he's trying to escape from his emotions. That's terrible. He tries to push the Director Lady away (ok, he doesn't like her), but he says "I don't like u and I don't want to hurt you" and keep hurting her! It isn't easy for a broken heart; HE KNOWS IT BETTER THAN ANYONE! His heart is broken as well - not so broken now tho - so he should at least understand and try to do something about it. He should try to get away from her for awhile, moving her to another department, maybe.

Well, talking about Si Woo, I rly like him. He's a child, ok, but he's a good guy inside. He needed to work a lot, to make money, too soon. He needed more responsibility and experience. But his feelings are true. Idk he can handle a rejection from Se Na now. His debut failed, his leg is broken... He's having a hard time. He needs someone to be with him.

SPOILERISH DON'T READ.

why did the ending make me feel like a dry fish...

I even tried to find the leads bearable, but ever since the older sister bomb dropped, the relationship just spiraled into needy, reliant, emotional crutch, unhealthy mess. I didn't like them together at all and their scenes together were boring and so anemic, lol. I think the only ones who actually liked the drama were those who liked the leads together in the first place to be honest. Considering they aren't the majority, it's gotten negative reviews all around. Some HW/SN shippers are even trying to excuse the bad writing and trying to make sense of the nonsensical idea of Se Na leaving. What's worse is those excuseS make Se Na look like a selfish, immature fool (well, more than she is. You need to skip town and have some guy look for you to prove his love despite all the crap that went down previously, wtf.

It's just bad writing. It happens.

I've already posted this on f(x) official thread but I think posting it here is more appropriate ...

For those who, like me, were disappointed with MLG ending, I'm happily announcing to you that the ending was actually very well written but we just didn't catch the subtlety of what the writer did there. Here's a better explanation:

What about you ahjusshi, if I go and hide somewhere, would you come looking for me?

Of course.

-Yoon Sena

And he didn't. Hyunwook didn't look for her... the conversation in the beach, how could I have forgotten about it?? That's so darn important and basically explains everything that happened in the last episode (at least for me). Sena said she's leaving but they're only to separate for a while. Not forever. She wanted Hyunwook to come find her. No, she expected Hyunwook to find her wherever she was. Just like he promised he would do. And he didn't. That's also why she asked Hong if he ever came by, and the response was heartbreaking...

What I told you wasn't what I really wanted to say. How could you leave me again without hearing me out? Does that make any sense at all?
I'm so late, aren't I? I missed you...

-Hyun Wook

He was late! I didn't understand why he said that, but now I do. He was late because he promised that if she ever left him, he'd search the world for her. But he never did since he felt betrayed. And because he didn't; she felt betrayed. She never really went hiding in the hopes of avoiding him. She went hiding hoping he'd come find her so she has a reason to believe what his dad said was wrong. That Hyunwook would be happier with her, that he'd do everything for them to be together because its where they both belong. She knows this but wanted him to prove that to her. He didn't for so long which is why he was so sorry he's late.

I think everything makes sense all of a sudden lol. Why she left, why she was upset that he lashed out at her, or that he sold their house and was so cold. All the while in the last episode, there wasn't a moment where I felt they both truly believed they weren't getting back together. That's why I remember Sena questioning for a moment... were they really going to end like this? Because she never truly believed it and neither did Hyunwook.

So in the end, that smile Sena had, hugging him without responding? That was perfect for me because in her mind, he finally found her like he said he would. Yes he was really late, but he's here now and its all that matters. She was waiting for him all this time, so of course she didn't even need to say she missed him. I think Hyunwook knew that too, which is why we never got an 'I love you' in the end ~ in their case, it was just so obvious it didn't even need to be said.

When I think about it, what ever happened to Rae Hoon, Infinite Power, Ra Eum, and Mina? They disappeared off the face of the planet and we didn't hear zilch about where they are. If Jae Young is having company troubles and he's not making enough and investors are leaving, then what's Infinite Power's fate?

Isn't that user the one who constantly romanticizes and exaggerates the leads' relationship when there's signs of unhealthiness? It's a bit overboard in my opinion. This isn't the Titanic. And I don't trust people when they are way too biased in that matter.

But anyway, read my last comment here, cause what I said applies to the attempted justification of that post. That makes things even worse. It looks bad on not only Se Na, who became inconsiderate, selfish, and when she came back, cold, but also the relationship. Why? Because now, as if they weren't a mess together enough, you have to add in insecurities and lack of trust to the neediness, reliance, total immaturity (yes, they are totally immature, and Hyun Wook comes off as a man child), and dysfunctional comfort seeking they have. People don't have to prove crap or have people do things for them to prove their love if they are certain of what they have with one another. The fact that she does this shows that there are faith issues. It was so pointless of her to skip town out of nowhere and come back randomly after a year if she was just going to return to him when he didn't come look for her like she wanted anyway, lol. So what...was the necessity of if it wasn't some ultimatum or a make it or break it situation? Hyun Wook didn't find anything or her, he just stopped her from leaving again by some cheesy broadcast that she cheesily hears cause they're meant to be when everything shows they are not. Or maybe they are so the universe can save other would be lovers from them. Is that what they call finding and searching for someone now?

It's horrible writing.

It's just horrible writing. And that's okay. But people shouldn't excuse it. May everyone just choose better dramas next time.

What a shitty ending to such a shittily written drama

Pretty much.

I think guardian angels were watching watching over Si Woo and Hae Yoon because they prevented them getting entangled with the unreasonable OTP. They should be thankful they got friendzoned to be honest despite that they were both the better fit for the leads. Nonetheless, they deserve better people.

I heard that the ending was bad, but I disagree. The way I heard it, I thought it'd be like The Prime Minister and I or Fashion King (dramas with idols) whose endings were terrible.

I'll write a review soon, but, for me, the drama was 7/10. It has a lot of mistakes, but the ending was at least fair.

What that person explained has nothing to do with being biased or not ... She just reminded us of a scene we forgot about (the one in the beach where she asks him if he's going to look for her if she hides), and which explains why she left.

And no what Sena did has nothing to do with trust but with lack of confidence in herself, which what we saw in episode 15, after the talk she had with HW's dad, she started thinking that maybe she's putting him in more trouble and causing him more misery, which is what she explained in the note she left for him. And by leaving, she was expecting him to come if he really needs her, but he didn't ... and she came back for her friend not for him, she wasn't intending to see him, she only went to his house because her friend told her he moved out.

So yes, it's not the best drama of the year, the writing was kinda bad but c'mon guys ! We've seen worse ! I've watched many other dramas with worse plots and much worse endings !

Overall the drama was easy to watch, and we still enjoyed the cute moments between both OTPs.

But I do think that if Rain, Krystal and L were given the entire script at the beginning they would've rejected this project, but since the script was written as and when they were filming, it was too late to back down.
