I really liked that part! He was doing the Keith Ape "It g ma" style rap, I thought it was cool but i've seen a lot of people say they didn't like that part :(

I see, I don't know much about rap ^.^0, so that kind of "voice break" that he do it's part of the style?. But I like it, it give a twist to Crush song and I think it was pretty cool.

If you haven't heard, Zico got into a car accident the night of Kyung's birthday party. HE IS OKAY EVERYONE INVOLVED IS OKAY thank god, when I first read the headline I was panicking, but it's alright. 

 

His manager was drunk and was driving the car, Zico was simply a passenger. Seven Seasons released a statement saying that Zico did not realize the manager was drunk when he got him to pick him up. He didn't know till the police told him. Zico's blood alcohol level at the time was 0% but we know earlier that he did drink because of the Instagram photos. I personally assume he must have sobered up before he left.

 

Despite this, he is getting A LOT of backlash. People are really placing the blame on him as opposed to the manager who was actually driving, which is a shame, seeing as knowing if it was any other idol, they probably wouldn't react this way.

 

Now it's just been confirmed that the police IS NOT charging Zico because he was the passenger (thank god they're sane lmao) but Zico is going to face a lot of criticism and image damage from this. It's so bad SMTM4 producers are in talks of making him step down from his position as judge, which is terrible seeing as the poor guy did nothing wrong. This, along with death threats to him have been surfacing. This is a significantly bad scandal to be wrapped up in, for guy who's already been through many before.

 

I know many don't visit this thread, I am aware Zico isn't very well liked by many. But I do know some people lurk, and if you are lurking, and you do support Zico, please, come talk with us. Here is the one place where Zico doesn't have to face criticism. If you support him, don't be silent.

 

And please, let Zico know you support him, tweet him. Comment on his instagram. Let him know YOU support him and believe in him. Because he really needs it right now, he really needs us, his fans, to love him.

That said, for goodness sake!! Suddenly we are blaming Zico for one of the big problem in South Korea?

People drunk a lot and younger people can't really order their hyung/noonas around, so saying that Zico must have stop his manager is just ridiculous. This is changing and they're trying to raise awareness of the problem, that why Zico is saying that he's sorry that he didn't notice that his manager was drunk. But it's happen in Korea all the time!!

 

In the other hand. news are confusing, so now I don't know if the Park Kyung's birthday party there're talking are the big one with all his friends (were Zico got heavely drunk) or the light one in their house with Block B and BBCs presents and cake. If is the second one it's make sense that Zico alcohol level was 0,00% (you can't not "sober up" at that level just resting a few hours) and that never cross Zico's mind that his manager would be that drunk (he was in the middle of the afternoon, why the hell he's so drunk?). If is the first and big party, Zico was sooo drunk, he can't being make responsible of bad jugdement in that case, that was drunk people are = a walking piece of bad jugdement. That's why he didn't drive himself to the party and leave other people drive him home.

It was the big party where Kyung had invited all his friends. I suspect that the videos of him drinking were taken earlier in the evening, like say 9/10? He didn't leave till 5/6 in the morning, so he had time to sober up, especially taking into consideration his height/metabolism.

 

But it is SO ridiculous that people are outraged at him. And the fact that he might lose his judging position on SMTM4 is so sad.

 

EDIT: it has just been reported that zico WILL NOT be losing his position as a judge on SMTM4.

• 18 of the 24 contestants (75%) stated that they wanted to be on Zico's team!
• Zico and Paloalto won the producer performance battle, meaning they got to be the first to pick members for their team.
• Lil Boi, Super B, and former Block B member HanHae rejected Zico's offer to join their team.
• One, Ja Mezz, Andup, and Mino accepted the offer to be on Zico's team.

Yup! I'm excited! He gets a lot of feature offers but he rarely takes them, so it's nice that this is happening 

 

And yeah, I agree. I heard of some sort of conflict arising when a Bobby fan mistranslated something Tablo said about Mino. It's really best to have a more neutral translator subbing the show than someone who's biased and may want to make a contestant look bad.

 

But I can't wait to see the next episode! I'm dying to see Zico judging Mino and I really want to see if Taewoon passed his audition!

 

I have to say, I want to root for Zico's team this season but if Taewoon passes, he probably wouldn't be on Zico's team, and I really want to see Taewoon win in the end. I'm conflicted lol, since I'm a huge fan of him! 

 

Until ep 4 I didn't like any of taewoon performances, like Tablo said he have to work a lot if he wants to be on the same level as Zico.

Its quite funny that a lot of taewoon's fans were angry with Zico for being a judge and stealing Taewoon's spotlight but I don't think he would have got so far and get so much airtime if it wasn't for Zico being a judge.

Also, some fans are mad with Zico for not picking his brother to be in his team now that he may be eliminated, when before the show everyone wished for Taewoon to stay away from Zico.

 

 

About SMTM, Zico did a really good job as a judge until now. He makes a great team with Paloalto and their stage on ep4 was  great.

Until ep 4 I didn't like any of taewoon performances, like Tablo said he have to work a lot if he wants to be on the same level as Zico.

Its quite funny that a lot of taewoon's fans were angry with Zico for being a judge and stealing Taewoon's spotlight but I don't think he would have got so far and get so much airtime if it wasn't for Zico being a judge.

Also, some fans are mad with Zico for not picking his brother to be in his team now that he may be eliminated, when before the show everyone wished for Taewoon to stay away from Zico.

 

 

About SMTM, Zico did a really good job as a judge until now. He makes a great team with Paloalto and their stage on ep4 was  great.

 

For me I feel like the majority of this season Taewoon wasn't performing at best possible level. My best guess is probably that he had some nerves going in to it, what with this being such a huge opportunity AND having his brother sitting there judging him the entire time. That has got to be nerve-wracking for him. But I think he gained a lot more confidence in the cypher battle round since he did so well.

 

My worry for him now is that if the top 16 list that was leaked is true, Taewoon is no where to be found on it. And so far, it's looking to be correct, seeing as team Paji's team members were all correct.

 

But I do agree about the screen time thing. Taewoon probably wouldn't have gotten half the screen time he's getting had it not been for Zico. Though it isn't always the best way, like how this last episode was like; Zico picks team member, *CUT TO TAEWOON'S FACE*, Zico picks team member, *CUT TO TAEWOON'S FACE* over and over again lmao. Like we don't know Mnet's malicious editing had everything to do with that. Lord knows Taewoon did not want anything to do with Zico's team lmao.

Like at the auditions when he was telling people that were saying, "that's zico's hyung" that he was woo taewoon. Or the fact that he had an entire song on his mixtape dedicated to saying he's not just zico's brother and that he's his own person. All that effort would be put to waste if he was on Zico's team. Not to mention k-netz would claiming the whole "dongsaeng's dog" thing again if Zico had offered him up a spot.

Also, the whole "hyung trying to beat his younger and more famous brother" would had fall if Taewoon ended in Zico's team. Taewoon would have ended as an hypocrite or something like that and have would damage his image a lot. So I totally understand Zico not calling him for his team. 

 

And yes, except some people that have some strong prejudices for him prior the show, it looks like Zico is impresing a lot of the public which didn't expect so much from him. More love for our baby!!!

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see Mnet just letting Taewoon end like this, he need to show much more and grow a bigger underground fanbase to allow him to go solo as a rapper. I see... then maybe Mnet would just allow judges to drop him out, you can't sell something that is not sellable  , Taewoon is, sadly, not winning people's hearts. I hope he will find another way to promote himself. 

 

 

 

Zico knows half the contestans also  , and a few of then are counting on him to help them to promote, that show to me that they trust with him a lot and respect him aswell. For example Zico was the first to ask Andup about his beef with idol rappers to allow him to develop his "drama story" to win showtime.

I usually found that people like Zico, wich have a agressive/confident image, are a easy target to malicious rumours. In the other hand people who just want to give vent to their feelings, rage,... usually used somebody with a smear reputation to do it. Both things combined in Zico, back feeding the one to the other, and now we have him with a vicious reputation based in air and speculation. You just have to add the third wheel in all this, people in internet never ever admit their mistakes, and then you have why people keep thinking that he's this or that even though his actions and friends prove them wrong.

 

 

 

Another topic: Do anybody have the feeling that Tablo and Zico have formed a strategic combo in SMTM? I mean, they both know perfectly well what kind of program it's and I think that they choose the same way to face it, so it's natural that they combine their efforts. I don't know if I'm explaining myself here XD. For example, using Andup again, Zico introduced the "drama story" and Tablo develop it, other times Tablo it's commenting something and you can count of Zico making some face, reacting, etc so they can extend that showtime. The same work in the other way around: Palo&Zico team asking contestans to join them to be rejected and Tablo comenting it and making fun to make the moment more memorable. They (Zico&Tablo) are working as a team in my opinion.

I see... then maybe Mnet would just allow judges to drop him out, you can't sell something that is not sellable  , Taewoon is, sadly, not winning people's hearts. I hope he will find another way to promote himself.

Yes he's always been the apple of MBK's CEO's eyes  so I'm not worried about he not having jobs oportunities, It's just that he seems to want to shine as a rapper, doesn't he? So It's a pitty he can take full avantage of this show.

 

I don't see Tablo having such a parental friendship in YG family (where they're plenty of young rappers, younger than Zico) like he have with Zico. But yes, maybe it's just a subaenim-maknae relationship showing, but I keep thinking that there's something more planned in their interactions.

Why? XD Our baby it's always strange when choosing his hairstyles but I'll wait for the video (I supposse there is one and this is the filming of it?) to see what the concept it's really, and if the hair styles really suit it or not XD
