I don't think Matsuri nine, Hachimitsu Rocket, and Ai Otsuka are underrated. Matsuri nine's last singles were inside the top 2. Hachimitsu Rocket is one of the popular Stardust acts. And Ai Otsuka is not underrated because she's already popular with Sakuranbo and Planetarium back in 2000s. Maybe you just discovered her because of her latest single, not her older singles. Idk if Japanese are using YouTube more nowadays but they also have their own YouTube like service called Niconico. So your base of underrated musicians is somewhat falsely titled.
