KinKi Kids being so high is surprising.

I would've thought that last year too, but after Tsuyoshi was diagnosed with SHH, my friends in Japan told me how the Johnny's fandom in Korea exploded with that news. It made a very big deal over there, almost as big as SMAP's disbandment. Now that got on my radar. Tsuyoshi's solo live event in October and Kinki's upcoming Tokyo Dome & Kyocera Dome concerts got competitive results from Korean and Chinese fans (including from Taiwan & Hong Kong). And this year, there's also the Gintama movie effect. After checking further, I kinda understand now why Kinki are the top Johnny's group in Korea. Top reasons seem to be 'overall talents', 'having the most loveable songs' and 'live performances'.

I honestly I didn't wanted to see it. I want to UNSEE it. I didn't wanted it ever to happened. It didn't supposed to happen, it was mistake of the universe. Whoever thought it was good idea should be punished by the law. How do I unsee it? Somebody help us all.

Oh yeah they collaborated with NEWS!

Though I think what pissed most Johnny's fans off last night was the lame prank pulled off by HSJ. Looks like that group have gotten to the top of most people's blacklist now.

i am not mad at all but it was kinda... awkward. Not sure if it was suitable for that kind of tv show. It would be nice if it was their own tv show though.

What did this group do now?

And to answer your question last page, I don’t get the rankings. Which one is the Japan one and which one is the Korean? It’s looks the same tbh.

Yeah I looked through some comments on GC and a lot of people were pissed off because they thought it was insensitive when they know what KAT-TUN and NEWS went through. Also there were rumors about Nakajima and Yamada being on bad terms and rumors about bullying going on in the group so they think it was all scripted to boost their image, which I'm pretty sure it was lol.

The rest of HSJ pranked Yamada by saying that Nakajima wanted to quit HSJ, and Yamada only found out that it was a prank during the broadcast.

About the ranking, it's a Johnny's election based on AKB election made by Korean fans at the Korean site theqoo. They started it in 2013. The 3 images in the tweet refer to results in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Ooh, and that’s a bit harsh of a joke about Nakajima quitting.

I thought Yuto and Ryosuke were bff or something?

Hi all, I've been given permission to change a lot of the outdated J-Badges,

are there any that you would like to see changed or kept the same?

Let me knooooow please smile.png

I made a mental note to get back to you thinking I did, but now I realize I didn't. Sorry if this is too late

The Kanna Badge is heavily outdated and I probably should have chosen a better picture for her in the first place but you live and you learn, right? smile.png

Here are some suggestions

I really love this photo, but I'd understand if the shadows were a bit much

Same deal with the striking shadows on this one, but ugh its so perf. I wonder if there are any ways to alter shadows on photos? idk.

So I'm officially heading off to Japan on the 4th of December. Well technically we are doing layover in Japan before we head off to Seoul for 4 days to with a very tight itinerary (including a DMZ Tour!). My sister managed to snag a ticket to see BTS she wanted to see really badly so I'm happy for her.

On the japanese side of things I have a quite comprehensive concert schedule going for a good month as the following:

  • The Yellow Monkey on 10 December in Tokyo Dome
  • Kuwata Keisuke on 16 December in Kyocera Dome
  • Eikichi Yazawa on 19 December in Nippon Budokan
  • Big Bang on 21 December in Kyocera Dome
  • B'z on 23 December in Fukuoka Yafuoka Dome
  • UverWorld on News Year Eve in Marine Messe Arena
  • Porno Graffitti on 11 January in Morioka Cultural Hall

Of course I would've loved to see Namie Amuro live but they would've required me to stay an extra month on top of applying for heavily contested tickets.

So I'm quite satisfied overall on how I managed to line this up. I'll definitely give an account of my trip and concert experience once I get back so watch this space.

So TWICE & BTS will be at MSSL this year. Still no Namie for year-end shows. So I made a thread of MSSL lineup at Random.

Anyway, looks like fandom wars are breaking out (again) because of MAMA.

Tell me about it. My t-list was interesting this morning lol

How did you manage to get all these tickets?

Haha thanks!

How did you manage to get all these tickets?

It takes a lot of pre planning. A good way to scan for potential tickets is to go on the major intermediary ticket sellers (They’re also known as play guides) such as Lawson, Eplus and ticket-pia. Look up any artists that you’re interested to see if they play on the days you’re there. The hard part is to apply through the lottery process since it’s luck based and the odds of winning depend on supply and demand. Some of the concerts also have general sales which are basically sales for leftover tickets after the lottery rounds.

For my case it’s was a mixture of both and I’ve been relatively fortunate in landing those tickets even if I don’t have any control over where I’ll be sitting, you can only influence it by how type of seats e.g s class tickets are closer to the stage than a class tickets.
