Yeah I often saw calm to mild stuff so I didn't really get some of the heat they were getting but now I do haha. Sometimes I just feel like people are just mad to be mad. Or find someone to just be a source/object of their wrath haha. Like everyone is mad at Robin Thicke but aren't discussing rape culture and the things they are "upset with" Like I get the song was very borderline but don't get mad at 1/3 of the people who wrote the song and ignore the discussion youre fighting for

I don't follow anything that's SJW on tumblr, I don't follow any blogs dedicated to that shit

I mostly use tumblr to talk to some friends and to bookmark fashion-y things I like, when it comes to all the fashion weeks all the tumblr photosets are A+, I don't always have time to watch but now Vogue and all those sites do slideshows which I can't stand, my entire blog is basically me reblogging things I want to come back to lol

Yeurgh I stopped following a lot of stuff because of fandoms, gets too crazy and is making me hate things I really like, after Olympics this year the figure skating fandoms exploded and now there's shipping and stuff and I unfollowed a lot of stuff

Yeah I don't follow any SAW but sometimes it just creeps up or when I decide to check a random tag it's all I see. And yeah that hanryu stuff was beyond creepy.

That was the first J-drama I ever watched! It was really interesting, but I can only remember the first half of it.

It's such a funny, off beat, and colorful look into the world of Otaku's and Akihabara as a distract. Hoshino Gen, Himura Yuki, Ikuta Toma, Kazama Shunsuke, Kosaka Yuka, and Matsushima Hatsune delivered hilarious, engaging, and fun performances that brought the characters to life. Such a shame that the drama is often looked over by the community....it's much smarter and darker than it's often given credited for.

 

I really want to read the original novel version one of these days, but I think I'll give the drama a rewatch soon. The cast worked really well together from my memory. There was great chemistry and it was really funny, I slightly remember some of the darker aspects of it, but it's been like 7 years since I've seen it. I don't want to ruin it for those on this forum who haven't seen it but it takes a big turn when "X" leaves right?

lol I started playing it but then got side tracked by other games, this makes me want to go back to it  :ahmagah:

 

It's such a long game. In the place where the llapacas were I thought this lady was caring a baby in her sling, but it was a baby llama well "llapaca" but it was the cutest thing ever.  :stare:

i quit NnK after a few hours and idk if i will ever go back. The art and music is beautiful but i'm not really a fan of its battle system and the game itself kinda bored me. Also there was a difficulty spike when i got to the desert town and i really didn't want to deal with it at the time. 

 

I've heard that from a lot of people. A lot haven't finished it and people either hate it or love. The game did get repetitious after awhile. Giving heart, taking heart, too much dialogue, travel there, but then you need to go back here etc. etc. But when it was all done I enjoyed playing it, but do wish there was more to the story. They cram most of it into the end of the game so in the fist half you forget what the goal even is.

 

Not to mention a big part of the backstory comes after you beat the game. Which was really weird.

Also I agree that Physical Sales are more fan oriented. Like when I'm a fan of an artist I'll buy the single or album in physical form, but if it's a song I hear and like I'll probably download it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a physical copy nor would I really want one. Physical copies have more value to you when you're a big fan of the act

Yeah, I can see a little bit of that in there.  Based on that song and the song they performed live on Music Station ("Hibi"), I've been looking to see if I can't find a download of their new self-titled album (Yoshida Yamada), but I've had no luck thus far.  I'm hoping that with their new boom of notice that someone might upload it somewhere, but we'll see.

That's one of the biggest problems with knowing lesser known acts. I remember years ago looking for Sasuke's music online, but it was impossible to find. Once more people started covering "Aoi Bench" I was finally able to find the album I was looking for online. Hopefully this happens with them as well.

 

I agree with Robo about the vocals. I prefer the guitarist vocals much more than the other's although his voice isn't bad.

Years ago I would want to go to a-nation. Now it doesn't interest me at all.

 

When I first got into the J-scene Avex used to be this super force, but now idk. Having to cut down A-nation to 2 days because of budget cuts and the lack of diversity in the acts in Stadium Fes definitely made it lose its steam. 

 

Normally a lot of people would be hyped about a-nation around this time in the past, but now no one is. I was surprised there was an artist list out since no one has mentioned it.
