X-men DOFP is the first x-men movie I went to see in theatres in a long time since I didn't care for the mess that was left after The Last Stand. It is has some inexplicable plot holes too, but some of them were done I guess in an homage of the actual comic story like Kitty's powers. The sentinals were amazing looking, truly scary to look at, and the tie ins of the future to the past was really well done. I am really pleased with this one The X-Men are my favourite Marvel superheroes from when I was a little girl. I am going to see this too, with my little cousins. Fan Bingbing was the only future mutant I cared about tbh. Her and bishop were like the important ones. And lol, I had no clue Jennifer Lawrence was in the film. Thought it was Rebecca romijn. Everybody in the future was disappearing as history was being altered but Wolverine's consciousness was still in the past. So if everybody's disappearing, then his only link back to his normal body also disappeared. His consciousness would either be stuck in past Wolverine's body or be lost....right? [/spoiler] FBB was cool in it but her and most of the other future mutants were all kinda worthless and afterthoughts. I also didn't think it was very funny but people in the theater were laughing for some reason :._.: Probably because of Quicksilver. The scene in the kitchen was hilarious. Movie wasn't exactly a comedy outside of some of those scenes though. I think storm didn't play a huge role due to Halle Barry's pregnancy. Kitty at least played an important role despite not having much screen time. It is in the future though and the cartoon didn't show her during the future stuff. But i don't see how her power of being able to go through thing evolves to that. [/spoiler] From walls to time. Gotta move up somehow lol. And my theatre would have some light laughter at the 70s stuff too. It was put in there for the folks who grew up and lived during that time. My mom was laughing a little when they showed Nixon for the first time. I found it fine and laughed a little as well. Unless your group laughed like monkeys then I dunno about them. _____ Also, flying to Toronto tomorrow. And then leaving Toronto to go to niagra falls. For a couple days then heading back to Toronto. The town itself is janky, but I did win a little at the casino. Cn tower is wonderful, but dang there is a ton of construction going on. Got one more day, not sure what to do. You can go look at scenery, there's Toronto Islands (or you can just go to Harbourfront) or the Scarborough Bluffs The harbourfront was under so much construction. I think the city is getting ready for the Pan Am games in 2015. Anyway, I'M BACK FROM CANADA!! Flew into Toronto from chicago and drove with my family straight to Niagra falls. The falls themselves are really pretty and gorgeous and there's lots to see there at the falls. The town itself is janky as hell though. Toronto was surprisingly crowded. The city itself is like the 2nd biggest in north american I heard, next to NYC. That doesn't include the whole metro area. Tom Horton's. Tim Horton's everywhere. Also a cute show salesman at Skechers. This lady at Sephora too. I like to people watch. The stereotype of Canadians being nice is such a lie :cry: lol they're just like anyone else. At Niagra Fall I played at the Casino for the first time. First time gambling and I earned $60 =D What I really loved was that unique fountain and glass dome. I got to see the Cn Tower. It was getting late, but the view of the purple sky and setting sun was beautiful. Only my brother and I went up though because it was like $32 a person. Being able to walk outside was cool and I enjoyed the simulation ride and movie, even if they had nothing to do with the Tower. Saw Casa Loma yesterday. That was super intriguing. I love visiting giant homes and estates like that. 180,000 sq. feet. Found a bunch of places to eat too. Though with 4 people, it was pretty pricey. I like Canada's $2 coin. Kept it as a souvenoir. My friend's wedding that I told you all about was really nice. Though they didn't serve and warm good. Also I felt way overdressed. Animal crossing is fun, but not for everyone. There's Smash Bros coming out soon. I haven't played it but I hear Fire Emblem is good. Only other game I have is KH3D and that is not for everyone :lol: Oops I meant to say they didn't serve and warm food lol. Was all salad and sandwich kind of like a BBQ. And I saw a couple guys in shorts too. Was different for sure. I think I might like animal crossing and kingdom hearts maybe. Not sure on the 3ds. What do you do in animal crossing? And what will having all songs being out a month before the actual release have for an effect on the album sales? I still need to hear the whole thing, but one thing I know for sure is that Ayu and Daishi Dance need to collab together more. I haven't spazzed this hard for an Ayu song in a while. Only improvements I can think of are less speaking (though I'm happy I understand her english) and having Nissy instead of Urata again. I'm just nit-picking though. [spoiler] Anyway, I really don't like this English professor I have for an online class. She's not very clear on her instructions, so we're all just doing things hoping it's right. We have to post a critique on an essay she assigned, except she assigned 4 and she was vague whether we do them all now or throughout the term. Also, she was also vague if we have to respond to someone else (it's a discussion board). I emailed her on Thursday afternoon but she hasn't gotten back yet. It's due tomorrow so I think I'll just do it and hope for the best. [/spoiler] In happier news, I'm taking Cultural Anthropology and loving it. Lots of reading though, but good reads. For one of the test she said if the automatic grader incorrectly grades your test she won't change your score because you should've been more careful. How tragic I finally figured out some of the stuff. There are 4 sets of essays to critique and we just go in order through the semester. She assigned essays for everyone to respond to. Except me. I know a couple writers personally on TH (as in on twitter) so I like commenting here and there. I've gotten used to following many sites for news now since no one site can cover everything. However, she was diagnosed with a panic disorder a few months ago, and so any physical releases and lives have been postponed until she recovers.
