Krunchii 409 Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 I was forced to take a day off from work because my voice is gone, I could barely croak "here is change" yesterday, I hate being sick and I was reading the Chinese newspaper during work and in the entertainment section for international news half the page was dedicated to talking about AKB48's election while there was about 1/8th of the page dedicated to Soshi starting their world tour, my coworkers saw me reading it and they were like what's so great about that giant group from Japan of girls pretending to be singers, I lol'd Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Debating if I should listen to it now or go to bed. EDIT: Just finished it and I love it. I'll have to relisten to it when I come home tonight. It doesn't really help the image of the music industry >< I don't hate them either, I just found it really funny they said that, and I also wish idols weren't at the forefront either, most of my coworkers don't really know anything Japanese though, just what they skim over the in the newspaper, they're aware of artists like Exile, Ayu and Namie from when they used to live in China but that's it, they're barely aware of anything in Kpop, it's just "that singer from Korea" every time they see a Kpop singer, but they like watching Running Man because they think it's funny haha Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
