Was told by a Kpop Fan that Japan doesn't care about talent like Korea does.

I asked why and was told it's because of AKB48. I then asked them to name any other Japanese Artist or Group and they couldn't even name a single one.

What about the dozens of bands, vocal groups, soloists and legends over various different genres that have managed to stay relevant for over a decade? Many of who write their own lyrics and compose their own music. I hate getting schooled by Kpop fans when their idols are basically told when, where and how to shit.

/End Rant.

Typical Kpop fan always using AKB48 as their main source of argument that Japanese don't care for talent.

I just saw someone say "Faky is the most interesting Japanese Girl Group out there". Like...interesting? God people are so fucking dumb, they only know like 3 groups and then they think that all Japanese gg music is either E-girls, Faky, or 48G. Like if they don't know many ggs and admit to it that's one thing, but these people talk so matter-of-factly about it and its annoying.

The 3 rising groups in the idol scene rn are BiSH, Wasuta, and Keyakizaka46. I may not particularly like any of those 3's music, but they are all objectively more interesting than Faky.

From now on if anyone posts anything stereotyping Japanese girl groups, I'm just going to post the most egregious, nauseating Alt-Idol songs I can find.

Truth

Better than the original:

Thanks!

So this vacation is evolving a lot quicker than I anticipated planning-wise. As far as developments is concerned, I've also managed to score Kuwata-Keisuke tickets in Osaka on the 16th so I'm very happy about that one as well. Given that I'm taking a sibling with me, we both have quite an extensive list of potential artists we're seeing available around December so arguments surrounding logistics and clashes are abound in the near future ilikeitplz.png .

So far the plan goes something along the lines of...

BTS - Seoul (8 December, Tentative)

The Yellow Monkey - Tokyo (10 December, Tentative)

Kuwata Keisuke - Osaka (16 December, Confirmed)

UVERWorld (20 December in Yokohama, or 30/31 December in Fukuoka, Tentative)

B'z - Fukuoka (23 December, Confirmed)

Add Exo and Big Bang in her bucket list to the mix it becomes a clusterfuck of a schedule... Oh boy.

Your bucket list is awesome
