I've seen discussions about since when people became fans, vocal techniques of the singer, skill of the band members, how their music has improved or deteriorated, criticism of their lives, and a lot more I wouldn't even really think of. It was actually quite funny that someone had the same sentiment as me when it came to lives. I wish I was more confident in my japanese to participate in some discussions with Japanese fans of groups I liked :lol: That we are and in some way I do see us as the English counterpart to 2ch. Cause let's face it, our members here are all over the place, but we still have good discussions. I decided not to vote because I really didn't see the point. Well maybe it creates a ground for discussion, but how can we really determine what is good on this forum. Of course I have my own idea of what is good, but I do think awards just turn into a popularity contest. Even though I sometimes vote, I do agree. It's actually kind of why I avoid voting in school. It reminds me of prom and how everyone was confused what our theme was. And when I told everyone what it was (our Vice president had prom meetings where I would hang out at lunch) they were like wtf? How does that even make sense :lol: I was going to vote and kept putting it off and then eventually forgot and didn't care to vote when I saw it was ending lol.
