I'm bias of course because it's my favorite release by her but it's amazing either way. The last one was like 5 years ago, with the user base of this site kind of changing from the old sites, it would be interesting to see how the ranking would compare to like 5 years ago. I mean we could always do an LDH ranking from all the acts under the umbrella (now including Crystal Kay) since they are pretty widely listened to, but personally, I don't listen to those acts all that much and probably would only participate for Flower. Instead of doing another female soloist rank off or whatever, what if we do our own ver. of Kouhaku. Like the members of this forum decide on like 40 acts (attempting to cover all genres, demographics, etc.) and then divide them into 2 teams and have acts face off. Then the members vote on each matchup and whichever act in the matchup gets the most votes, they win a point for their team. Whichever team has the most points wins. Does that all make sense? Some MOR cellphone ballad with a PV of dancing in a room full of soft, girly things (like flowers, how original!). Because they are as successful and profitable as ever. They don't need to pay someone to come up with a brilliant PV storyline or write a unique song because they can keep doing what they are comfortable with and be successful. They also have less members to pay now. Pretty much everything is going right for them so they don't even try anymore.
