They are literally one the worst idol groups one could stan, and it makes me sad that so many non j-pop fans are seeing these posts about Sakura Gakuin and judging the scene based on them. I haven't watched one in a while, could be K or J It's Okay, It's Love is on my list but I don't feel like crying today so something more light hearted or feel good please I haven't watched it yet, but I heard the new 'School' drama is really good. I loved School 2013, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one lived up to expectations. And if you have never watched Reply 1997, get on that, that goes for anyone tbh. I don't mind leaving bigger tips tbh. Especially after working with students, i have seen that people are so selfish and annoying. Waiters def don't get paid enough to have to deal with it yet they endure every type of person, so IMO leaving a good tip is the least I can do. SeeYaWithYou 4,415 Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 Honestly I don't like talent shows that much, especially with singing ones, it's like oh great they sound good but it's kind of just pumping out 20 new singers every year who can all sing Beyonce's Halo but aren't really original or anything special. Like occasionally you get some gems but I find it really boring. The Voice is massive in China but a lot of the songs sound just like the original with a different voice and when they debut they just release generic ballads like Jane Zhang did. I will say though, I enjoy stuff like I Am a Singer and to an extent Immortal Song, there's more flair and I've really enjoyed some of the modern takes on old hits IAAS is literally amazing. Because these people are already legends, they aren't willing to take risks with innovative performances, at least in the Korean version, never watched the Chinese one. A Japanese version would be great. Imagine Misia singing a contemporary version of Heavy Rotation or JUJU singing a jazz version of Boys & Girls.
