what’s the tweet about? It’s deleted

Apparently Johnny's arrested someone that uploaded an Arashi concert to Youtube or something. It was an English tweet, but didn't have a source, so I'm not sure how true it was.

Someone on Hoshino Gen's staff seems to have finally realized they can crowd source subtitles from fans. The MV has subtitles in 8 languages now.

Looks like you can add translations for all the MVs on his channel. Some Korean fan went through the trouble of making Korean subs for basically all of them lol.

It looks like Avex is taking advantage of Youtube Premium, now that it's been implemented in Japan.

They uploaded a bunch of full MVs that previously only had a short version on their channel, or like it wasn't the "completely full version" because some of the differences is only like a couple of seconds unimpressed.png . The full MVs are only available to people that have Youtube Premium or Youtube Music Premium I guess.

but it includes stuff like EXILE TRIBE and Wagakki Band. I imagine they're going to continue to upload more of them in the future.

Idk if Japanese are using YouTube more nowadays but they also have their own YouTube like service called Niconico. So your base of underrated musicians is somewhat falsely titled.

Youtube is more popular by a WIDE margin, it's not even an argument. Music companies don't even put their stuff on niconico

Who are the ones that uses Niconico then?

I think the Vocaloid community still uses it. Other than that, I think it's just people that are too stubborn to move to Youtube
