Which Ayu album is really better? I only need one album from her, and it's a tie between I Am and Next Level.

 

Kuu had a three-way tie between Black Cherry, Kingdom, and Japonesque, but I think it's pretty obvious that Black Cherry is her best album, so I'm going with that one.

Literally, don't listen to it. Mystery Survivor is the only song that actually made me want to relisten. It just wasn't very good.

Those comments...   Anyway, what he said doesn't really seem like a big deal to me. Just an overreaction from some K-pop fans, as usual. But copied or not, that blond hair doesn't really look that good on him. Even if it was to match his...um...abs.

It ALL blended together and absolutely nothing was interesting or worth noting. The only reason why people like it is because it's different from the other pop shit that's coming out of Kpop this year.

And also, a lot of newer Kpop fans latch on to the BEG bandwagon because it makes them feel more well-versed or prestigious even though the album is not good. They think, oh BEG is differently from the other pop idols I listen to, and they think they are above others who just listen to the idols.

 

Why can't people just listen to music because they like it and not because it makes them feel cool or important? -_-

 

Anyway, I am going to listen to it because I'd like to form my own opinion of it, but I'll put it last on my list of things I need to get through.

I knew I wouldn't be feeling Beni's album all that much when the intro was a complete let down and her intros are the best things about her albums. I would say it's my least liked album of hers since getting on Universal.

Guess I'm shoving Beni to the end of my list of things to listen to along with BEG now. =/

 

f(x) should've promoted Airplane instead of First Wisdom Tooth (Rum Pum Pum) because it's a much more exciting record and features quite a few sonic touches especially around the chorus that catch my attention. It's easily one of my favorites off of the full length and one of the better records I've listened to come out of Korea. It's a cute and fun performance that is much better then the uninspired and limiting performances of Rum Pum Pum.

 

I would have much preferred Airplane as well. Or Signal or Shadow. They could have been much more creative in both the MVs and the stage performances. Shadow is so creepy in lyric tone and instrumental, and all the girls actually get a chance to sing without anyone having to resort to rapping. Signal shows good vocals from them as well it being a very catchy song. Plus any one of those songs would be very different from what they've promoted as a title track before. Airplane, Signal, and Shadow actually the only ones I've kept from f(x)'s album.

Not really gonna get my hopes up for that one. There's only been 2 or 3 good songs this era and there's only a few new songs on the album, which will probably end up being like all the singles she's released. =/

I wonder how Kana will do on the Ninki tomorrow. =/ Namida Iro is doing fine digitally, but she's never been really good on the physical side of things.

 

Then there's Flower, Happiness, Jin, SKY-HI, Southern All Stars, and Acid Black Cherry for singles, too. Well...and MAX (but they probably won't make it on the Ninki. I'll be very surprised if they do). Next week will be a big week.

Sony is so weird. Mika has a Vevo page too. And some of the Sony videos are unblocked like some of Kana's and Ling Tosite Sigure's.

 

Sony just needs to unblock all their videos because it's not helping them any. I can't think of a major label that is still blocking their PVs besides them.

K I need to vent, sorry for not posting not in one of the confession or rant threads but idk why I just feel more comfortable venting here. I hope nobody minds.

A lot of the bullshit being said in this forum is really turning me off from wanting to be here. From the horrible fights going on in the ranting threads to the petty arguments in the threads about idols, it's just gross what people say to each other and the stupid fucking insults being thrown for literally no reason.
Obviously I dont come to a forum like this filled with teenage girls and young gay teenagers looking to have intelligent discussions or lengthy conversations, but everything just seems so petty tbh. Its like, literally nothing has involved me but I can't help feeling disgusted, just as a member of this community who has to be exposed to these things.
I was once in the position of the young teenage girl who, with my group of online "friends", trolled and bullied people who I didn't like, or even if I did like them and I was just bored. I would say the meanest things in the world to people, tell them to kill themselves, insult their rl appearance, just everything. Yes the internet is an escape for a lot of people from their everyday lives and troubles, but that doesn't mean you can take out your frustration on people with random insults thrown at people you don't even know. but back then had the common, forum-goer mindset that I was invincible behind a keyboard.
I was never in the opposing position where any of these were thrown at me, because by the time I realized what we were doing was wrong, all those people who I thought were my "protection" were long gone and I couldn't continue on my rampage without anyone to back me up. So I just took the easy option and left the forum.
It wasn't until I was older that I realized how mean I really was. So many people go to the Internet to find enjoyment that they can't find irl and all these personal attacks just make them in pain even in the Internet.
I'm not saying that the Internet should be all hugs and kisses and what not, but it just upsets me to see posts insulting...let's say Nax3 for being gay and black or a post telling someone to go kill themselves for disagreeing with their opinion. It might be a superiority complex or something but I just don't understand why people can't wake up and be empathetic about what they are saying to others behind the screen of a computer. It just sucks tbh.
This honestly really want to start speaking out, even where I don't belong, and help people realize this kind of fighting is just stupid. But I'm such a talker, I never follow through with what I say so this probably won't happen.

I understand. It's like as hard as you try to avoid it, you can't help but have to look at it anyway as it's pretty much everywhere in these forums right now. It might be due to the influx of younger users that we got (and still are getting) once the AKP forums died. I don't think some of them understand that just because you're sitting behind a computer screen, it doesn't give you the right to be an awful human being.

 

Yeah, it's probably a healthier outlet for some of these kids than other things, but I think they're taking it too far sometimes. If it's really bothering you that much, you should talk to some of the mods privately and see if anything can be done.

There's older people there too. There have been people in their 30s and 40s posting there. I don't see a reason to get so bothered over it. They're just opinions. I think some people may be bothered by it though because the netizens don't share the same views they do.

 

It's not 2ch's opinions I'm bothered by.    I could care less what they think, because like I said, 2ch is the (very) vocal minority, not the majority. Even if it was the majority, it still wouldn't change my own opinion.

 

I'm more bothered the fact that some of the users here are using those to justify bashing certain artists or idol groups. It was fun for the first one or two times, but after that it got exhausting to read. I'm not saying there can't be any negative opinions around here, but the idol bashing has gone too far lately. It's not even constructive, it's just mean.

I'm not under the impression that everyone hates them. I just don't think that everyone loves them to the extent that a lot of idols fans believe. Like I said before, an idol group now selling a million singles isn't the same as Hikki selling a million singles at the turn of the century.
