So I went to Frieze New York today... I was walking past one of the booths when something looked very familiar. I went to look at this set of photos and I was correct: they were by Mika Ninagawa. It was the first time I had ever seen her work in person. I asked the gallery workers and they said that they don't believe she's been exhibited in the US before. They were surprised that I knew who she was (which seems to be a thing whenever I encounter Japanese people and I say that I know about something Japanese.) Her work isn't that expensive for what it is, around the $1000 mark for a photo.

They were also exhibiting this artist named Satoshi Ohno. I just had to ask if he was the Arashi member. After the surprise that I knew who Arashi was, they said it wasn't him. But apparently whenever this Satoshi Ohno has an exhibition in Japan, people think it's Arashi's Satoshi Ohno.

Where do you live?

I was searching why the forum crashed and I ended up coming a cross a thread with this song

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sna6j078eOw

What kind of fucking jam. I feel like I've heard it before kinda, but it's still amazing. Best Kpop song in a while, a highlight in one of the worst years the korean music scene has seen.

ikw it sounds so famailar I just can't remember from where, I will admit this song is catchy

Old information but still interesting
"SM always hires sakuras (except tohoshinki) so i guarantee we wont be seeing empty seats"

"they keep ticket prices way cheaper than jpop groups and foreign artists and give out a lot of free promo tickets. If still many vacant seats, they hire people who's called ''sakura''s, basically they pay them to watch the concert. I have a friend that made good money out of it."
reported? you mean in the media? its on all the time. some japanese artists do that too, not just kpop. last i've heard was hamasaki ayumi."

"TVXQ is big. Kara used to be very popular, still has popularity but not like before. I have no idea of BB."

"
Ehh, I'll believe it when I see it. It's not as if the country went mainly to digital downloads before, so I don't see why streaming would be a really big thing.

ur famous lol link

Yumi Shizukusa's album is pretty good!

From when?

Yes her album flowed so well, a very cohesive album. Emi Maria and her are really good urban releases this year.
