kind of disturbed at the lack of security/checking they do at schools. I just got back from picking up my nephew from preschool and they didn't ask me for my id or my name, or the name of the student i was picking up, or my relation to the kid, nothing. I just walked up and signed a paper with what could have been a fake name and left with a kid in about 5 seconds. 

 

Weird that they do this but some schools here have a backpack ban because of guns/weapons.

: It's a bit difficult to recommend artist similar to Kalafina because they have a specific sound that isn't too easy to spot in other acts. Would recommend looking into Fiction Junction and Akiko Shikata. Shikata has a tendency to use quite a few folk, neo-classical, and Celtic elements in her music that are close enough to a few elements that Kalafina use in their work. Haruka Shimotsuki, Nahoko Kakiage, Yuuko Ishibashi, and Jack or Jive may also be worth looking into. @Mandilinn and @MomoMoon115 may be able to better assist you in regards to finding acts similar to Kalafina.

I haven't really listened to much outside of Kalafina, but since Yuki Kajiura is the woman behind Kalafina, Fictionjuntion, and See-saw, along with other compositions for certain animations companies I'd start with them ^_^ 

 

The genres in these groups themselves are like a bit contemporary classical and I'd suppose there's chamber music mixed in as well. ^_^ 

 

I look into it more for though. See what I find ^_^

I got in a huge fight with this chick at work today. She's like this 40 year old southern bitch who is like the stereotypical rich southern pageant mom, besides the fact that she actually works. Later on in the day my boss came up to me and accused me of bullying this bitch. My boss really likes me so I was surprised for her to come at me like that but apparently the bitch literally went to my boss in tears claiming I was bullying her and insulting her intelligence and acting like she was a bad person WHICH SHE IS. After I told my story to the boss the immediately took my side and began telling me all the shit the girl I got in a fight with was saying about me. How she called me a dyke and how 'my people are coming to this country thinking we can run the place'. Ugh she just pisses me off so much and literally after all of this nothing was resolved at all.

No you're right to be concerned, that school needs to get it's act together.  I remember my Aunt had to leave my name with the school when she had to leave the country for a family emergency.  She had left the kids with me for 3 weeks.  One of her daughters wasn't feeling well so I called the school just to tell her she wasn't coming, and the secretary made sure it was that had her.  After when my aunt came back, she told me to sign her two kids out of the school while she waited in the car and they wouldn't let me do it until they were sure their mother was there.  I even had the kid's older sister with me who had attended the school the year before.  It was annoying at the time since we had to go, but I'm glad they did it, it shows they care about safety.

you know what's worse is that my nephew is half mexican but looks full mexican and not even the slightest bit asian. I wouldn't start doing that. She'll just have more of an actual reason to possibly get you in trouble/fired. Just continue being as good to the kids as you can. Maybe talk to your boss in private about getting her out.
