She didn't write the song so it's understandable. At least Kuu wrote Shake It so she has an idea of what she's saying. I'm still devastated about her album sales, but she wasn't really putting that much into promotion like her last album where she had a tour and like a tie-in to one of the biggest movies of the year. Tbh she is like neglecting her Japanese promotions to try to focus on breaking into America which is a terrible idea. Why would you leave success in Japan for an attempt to break into America where there are hundreds of others just like her. I just don't get it tbh. Che'nelle aleady debuted in The United States in 2007 with the release of I Fell In Love with The DJ and Things Happen for a Reason. She had moderate success and exposure with the release but it isn't remotely close to the success and praise that she garnered while releasing in Japan. Majority of her success stemmed from her Japanese releases. It's a bit odd for her to leave Japan and attempt to re-enter into the American market when everyone has forgotten her. I personally prefer the material that she released while being in The United States but it isn't going to give her the success that she needs.
