If they heard Want Me, Want Me I can see the slut thing. When I first heard it I was WTF about it but apparently she had no idea what she was singing.

You make it sound like she's an airhead who justs sits around and waits to be told what to do. :wth: She's the one that made it a single in the first place. Namie knew exactly what she was doing. It was her management/team who was opposed to the song

And is WANT ME, WANT ME really worse than

We're having a hard time, like a virgin

But don't forget the Trojan

I am oochie, la la poppin' coochie

That's worst than:

I touch your ding dong baby

I do believe it was on here that I found out that Namie didn't know what she was saying in that song. She didn't write the song so it's understandable. At least Kuu wrote Shake It so she has an idea of what she's saying. And no, I'm not trying to have a fanwar before anyone thinks that because I don't feel like rehashing that.

Namie was promoting safe sex and sex positivity with Want Me, Want Me way before Koda Kumi.

But Shake It was out before Want Me, Want Me.

Ken Hirai's been doing quite a bit of promo recently. He needs to release something new soon.

This and hopefully an RnB track cause his ballads are boring me.

EDIT: Once again on the netizens' scalpel board.

Happy Birthday Mandi! Crystal Kay has announced that she'll start uploading and releasing covers through her youtube channel (

). Crystal Kay has release her cover of
, which happens to be one of my favorite releases of this year. It's nice to see that she has taken her own spin and perspective on the song. Looking forward to hearing her other covers.

Che'nelle has been doing covers of mainstream western songs this year too.

I'm still devastated about her album sales, but she wasn't really putting that much into promotion like her last album where she had a tour and like a tie-in to one of the biggest movies of the year. Tbh she is like neglecting her Japanese promotions to try to focus on breaking into America which is a terrible idea. Why would you leave success in Japan for an attempt to break into America where there are hundreds of others just like her. I just don't get it tbh.

@SeeYaWithYou: Che'nelle hasn't been making too many thoughtful or effective decisions in regards to her career as of late. Che'nelle aleady debuted in The United States in 2007 with the release of I Fell In Love with The DJ and Things Happen for a Reason. She had moderate success and exposure with the release but it isn't remotely close to the success and praise that she garnered while releasing in Japan. Majority of her success stemmed from her Japanese releases. It's a bit odd for her to leave Japan and attempt to re-enter into the American market when everyone has forgotten her. I personally prefer the material that she released while being in The United States but it isn't going to give her the success that she needs. It's pointless to attempt and re-enter the market when Japan is much more suitable for her.

Happy Birthday!

And I was thinking the same thing about Ken. Lots of activity for someone who hasn't released in awhile. He did have that song for a commercial not too long ago.

happy birthday Mandi!!!

I can't even finish Che'nelle's album. It bores me and i always put on something else about halfway through.

Thank you guys ^_^ I'm having a great day so far.
