It kind of sucks how many waiters and waitresses depend on tips for their income from that job though. I enjoy tipping extra for good service. That happens to a lot of singers who do well early on in their career. __ In other news, I need I really want to start making covers or writing songs. She posts them on Loudr and iTunes, but what I don't get is how the royalty rights work for a Japanese covers. It seems like most wouldn't approve, or maybe I just don't know how the law works internationally. In the U.S. I believe for most songs it's like...$0.91 for every song or something. I tweeted tofubeats, Creephyp, and Miliyah. tofubeats retweeted and favorited my tweet linking to his article. Miliyah has a twitter? Or is it that staff one? Didn't even know she released a new song. Need to go check it out. __ I need to start checking back in with Jpop stuff, but been so busy this year that if it's not on YouTube I'll probably won't get a chance to listen unless I'm actively looking for it, like that Namie/CK collab. __ It's still odd to me not seeing Sera in 9Muses, but she seems really happy and gets to do songs and covers like this. Though, Loveland will always be my favourite (and my favourite Japanese album of 2014).I'm enjoying her singles lately. I wonder what direction she'll go in this year. I think she's going on tour in the Spring, so probably a new album soon. Stan! That song is amazing. My fave on Ring, actually. The album is not exactly one of my faves by her, but still it isn't bad either.It has some tracks I love like this one, Sayonara Baby, and Love Forever. Still need to listen to the rest. I have a ton of Miliyah tracks on my PC, but I hardly use it anymore since getting my laptop a year ago. I need to fire it back up and download the hundreds of songs I have on it to something else. My laptop is really sparse for music also (it has like 5 songs on it). LOVELAND is my fave too. And EMOTION is my fave song. Shame I only got into her last year, though. I like FUTURE LOVER, it's definitely better than her last few singles, imo. I'm getting my life!I just took a listen to Loveland from that site I linked earlier. Emotion is definitely my favorite from it. I think Heaven is still my overall favorite album, mostly because of Bye Bye (my favorite song from her), Last Love, I miss you, BFF, Why, Destiny, and some others. Sayonara, Time is Money and Love forever are my faves on Ring too, my issue with the rest of the album is that some songs lack a standout quality for me. Stuff like Breathe Again, Love for you, Dance tonight, 20-CRY- are nice, but they don't do as much for me as the other 3. And I like all those songs from HEAVEN, too (except Last Love which is meh), and some others like XOXO and FREE, but overall I still haven't gotten into it properly, lol. I don't really care about the ballads, and maybe if it was a bit shorter I would appreciate it more. Or it just needs to grow on me, lol. Japanese songs tend to be kind of longer than most, but I noticed Miliyah's can be really long. She has quite a few 5+ minute songs. A couple going into 6 minutes even. She's good generally at making her songs long but not seem like they're dragging on forever. It's pretty cool how she composes most of her songs. It also amazes me how different a song can sounds after post-production and with a different arrangement. Might be issues with the torrents though since no torrent app is working at all. Each one says invalid pointer so maybe that's it.
