Mandilinn 7,814 Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 The Second is releasing a new single (finally!). No exact date yet from what I've heard, but one of the song titles is "SURVIVAL feat. DJ MAKIDAI". It'll be out sometime in August. The two new promo pictures that came out today: i'm fine with some random talking but it's long talks about random things. I'm not used to a podcast that long, i'm going to have to listen to it in parts. Really makes me want to play Last Of Us after hearing them talk about how good the story is. I usually listen to it when I'm working, cleaning, or have to do a lot of driving. The Last of Us is amazing. I am seriously impressed with Naughty Dog. I didn't think they could top Uncharted (especially with a zombie game), but they managed to not only top it, but create an incredible story to go with it. Oh, and on another note, I got to play some of The Last of Us at a friend's house - from what I played the story and the characters were pretty darn good, but I can't necessarily say the same for the controls. They seemed ... really un-intuitive and sometimes hard to reconcile with what you needed to do. Might have something to do with me being a primarily PC gamer these days. Who knows. Haha, I only watched a friend play all the way through, so I can't speak to the controls. Some people have a problem with them and some don't, so maybe it just comes down to tolerance and preference. What I am curious about is the multiplayer and how that works, so I'll probably be picking up my own copy soon. I don't know much about it other than that it plays similar to the story except on teams rather than by yourself. woot 100 pages~ Anyway i started playing Okami, the graphics are pretty nice but this brush drawing stuff is so difficult on a wii mote I remember people complaining about that function when it came out on the Wii Too bad Wii Motion Plus doesn't work on it. Her single has been on the blogs for a few days now. I guess it leaked early. I saw the PV on Tumblr just now and it's pretty good. And previews of SKY-HI's new songs: I think I've heard of her, but this is my first time actually hearing her sing. Was surprised a voice like that came out of her, but I like the song a lot. I just threw them all in a randomizer, but some of these pairings are just too perfect. I want this new album to be as good as Gold is, but the singles this era don't match up to the ones that were on her first album. Is there any sort of tracklist yet? I was so excited when their last title track was supposed to be a throwback to Sexy Jewelry yet it didn't really live up to my expectations. Jewelry was my first real group that I stanned back in 04-05, that's why they are so special to me. And yeah it's so annoying that she never goes on shows then as soon as she gets an opportunity AKB tries to leach off of her fame and talent. I liked Look At Me for a while, then I got bored of it. I got into Jewelry when they were releasing their album "Sophisticated", so I haven't known them for that long, but the releases after that album just haven't lived up to when I first listened to them. Nevertheless, I am a bit excited. Maybe this could be a good song. You never know. Yes!!! I went and saw fireworks and they were beautifulllll This was also really random to me, AKB are like karaoke singers while May J is the real star here, she was great, I love EZ Do Dance, one of my first trf songs. I stopped paying attention to Jewelry after Seo In Young left tbh Going to a friend's house on Thursday for a barbeque and I'll get to watch some then. But 2010-2012 was awful and should is an exception to this policy. But yeah I enjoyed 2008 a lot but one year that really sticks out to me as I remembered I loved so many songs at once was 2007. Ivy, Seeya, SG Wannabe, Jang Yoonjung, it was all so perfect. I actually feel bad for people who got into Kpop post-2009 because they missed some amazing material that they will never appreciate because it's not the style that is in now. Like late 90s to early 00s Korean Music might be my favorite period of music ever because there was a large variety of amazing songs being released and for some reason SO many of them just appealed to me. Like people really missed the wonder of the legends like Kim Hyun Jung, Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, So Chan Hwee. That's why I really appreciate shows like Immortal Song and I Am A Singer, it helps expose today's Korean music listeners to some of the greatest songs ever in my opinion. Now enough of that tangent, all of a sudden I feel like a huge hipster because I'm being like "TODAY'S MAINSTREAM SUCKS!!!!!!" Ugh...you just reminded me that Ivy is rarely around anymore. :( All the good K-Pop acts are either non-existent now or are releasing mediocre music. Haven't been here in a while and Flower new single <33 Momo! That new Japanese group you said you liked (SOLIDEMO) is releasing their debut single today. It's not up on J-mp3 yet, though. Also this is their new cover aside from that they sounded pretty damn good....well what r ur thoughts on this one and also the LA LA LA Love Song? You're not butting in. xD You're welcome to chime in anytime ^_^ As for the group, I'm not completely sold on them yet, but they do have a lot of potential. I love Time Goes By and they did a good job. The second cover wasn't as good, but I'm looking forward to see what type of songs they do in the future. Yay for more Kana I hope she doesn't disappoint though, the last few singles were kinda meh Believe was her most disappointing single in a long time. Story was good, though. I think she just needs some new producers. And she should grow her hair out again. Not sure I like the short style for her (at least she got rid of the pink tips...)
