It's the opening theme for the anime Jewelpet Happiness!It's definitely their weakest single to date and doesn't sound like their usual sound. but it'll definitely garner them a bit more popularity and exposure. They are working together on a track that will be featured in Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Arise film coming out on June 22nd. Way too excited about Salyu and Cornelius getting back together for more music. You can hear a bit of the track in the background of the trailer. They haven't fully mentioned whether it's only going to be one song or if they are going to make more but it is definitely one song for the sake of the film. Would definitely love Salyu X Salyu to comeback for an entire album with Cornelius. yay for more Salyu. I didn't like the new character designs for Motoko and the other chars before, but it looks better now. Salyu! They've fixed the character designs from what they released before. The video is pretty, tho i could do without the wings. Never a fan of them on real folks. Didn't like it in Vixx's hyde and not crazy here, but it's still a nice video. Oh and -Kuu-chan in ihop and disneyland is really cute. Wonder what she'd be like just wondering around like a tourist. -First Misia pic -I miss Haru Haru's goodness. Need a new song like that. -I like the opening music of that festival Can someone tell me what the scandal with Mari is? I remember that pic of her and her husband and it was super cute. - Haven't paid too much attention to Mari Yamaguchi since she left Morning Musume but she was recently caught having an affair with Kenzo Umeda. I'm going to assume that Nakamura caught her and Umeda because they have been living separately for quite sometime. Too bad I can't say the same for the rest of the album. Aside from Hikari e and Delight, I didn't like any of it. I'm disappointed with Leo's single, too. It's not as high quality as the songs on her debut album. At least Perfume's single was good. Looking forward to a new batch of releases on the 29th! Agreed! I had quite a few reservations going into Delight because it wasn't giving me the same feeling or atmosphere that both Guitarium and Guitarissmo gave me but was still looking forward to listening to the album. Delight was incredibly disappointing because Miwa is capable of releasing a much stronger album especially because of her recent success. I'll have to listen to Delight a few more times but definitely wasn't impressed on first listen. =( They looked so cute. Like the main couple in Hiyokoi. Which reminds me, now that I'm done with finals, I have tons of shows and reading to catch up on. Wasn't expecting any of this from Mari because her and Nakamura made such an absolutely cute and adorable couple. Definitely disappointing to see this happening. Wouldn't want to defer anyone from listening to Delight by Miwa but it wasn't remotely close to any of her past material. Both Guitarissimo and Guitarium are much stronger albums in terms of both music and her vocal work. Delight/Hikari E are worth listening to off of the album but for the most part the album isn't too impressive and a bit of a step back for Miwa. The thing with him is that his singles are misleading as far as the albums go. Haven't gotten a chance to listen to it but thoroughly enjoyed Adventure. Is his newest release worth listening to?? MoreTokyo 1,008 Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I wanted some reccs ^_^ I've found their earlier releases off of Aurora and Who Are You much more enjoyable than their recent output, which isn't bad but doesn't stick with me as much. Image Training and Estranger are worth checking out off of Who Are You. Aurora was also quite a good album and would recommend Lonesome Ghost, Big Foot and Leo. Bloodthirsty Butchers have been one of my favorite bands for the longest and are arguably one of the main reasons that I was ever introduced or listened to Japanese music. Thoroughly enjoyed it but I still prefer Toyosu☆Luciferin, Hodokenai Bokura wa Zettai and Roulette de Kuchizuke wo off of her last single instead. Isn't 0 suppose to be connected to a commercial?? She hasn't released anything interesting since Rainbow and Magic. I'm close to losing any faith in her but I'll wait for Incomplete to come out and see if she can redeem herself. I'm way too tired of J-Artist releasing cover albums because they don't do much to change or transforms the records that they have chosen to cover. I've exhausted myself on these cover albums and can't wait until this trend is done and over with. Koda Kumi delivered on her cover album on quite a few tracks but I don't have any faith that Hiromi is going to pull out anything interesting from her cover album. At least Kuu's interpretations of the songs are interesting and fun. the others just change the instruments around and bam. its usually the same thing. I'd love to see Shiina Ringo do a cover album. shes great at rearranging songs tbh I don't know what to do with Hiromi anymore. Magic and Rainbow are two of my favorite urban full lengths because she had so much life, sass and energy in her music but Honesty was much too tired and sleepy. I'm most likely not going to bother listening to her cover album unless I heard good things about it but I'm not going to hold my breathe. Ringo would create such a magical cover album! I haven't really listened to her much, but I might go check out some older stuff. I'm glad that you ended up enjoying both MEG and MEG Zombie. You should definitely give her older work a chance because it's quite good. Id recommend checking out her albums Room Girl, Dithyrambos and Journey. Wear I Am is a great album as well and may stick a bit closer to the singles that she has been releasing as of late.
