Hyori's new song is boring as hell.

I actually love it, it's just so catchy and I'm def a sucker for retro sounding songs. I like it better than Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at least.

I have never disliked a Hyori title track before, I have been listening to her for pretty much my whole life and anything that she's released or been part of I have actually liked or at least didn't hate.

 

I hope her album is amazing though, especially after such a long wait.

 

Also, has anyone listened to Younha's new album lately, like it a lot and have been playing it a lot the past few days. Not as good as Supersonic but still good.

It's really good, the best song IMO is Just Listen, but of course it has an unneeded rap inserted into it. But if you ignore the rap it's an amazing song, it's the same situation as Driver from the Supersonic album. Tbh, Younha just needs to avoid rappers in any of her songs.

IMO AKB is like the epitome of catchy bubblegum pop. I only listen to them for their poppyness not really because of their looks, but their looks are a plus. Certain girls I do like over others because they are hotter but I don't really watch mvs or performances that much from any group so the music is what makes an act for me.

LOL, now the guy I've been talking to has said to me that when I plan to go to Tokyo with him, I should let him know a few months in advance, so he can get tickets to the AKB48 theater as part of my tour of the city.

They've lost what made them interesting in Japan.

Might as well have released that in Korea so at least it could go to number one and people could pretend that the song actually isn't the worst thing ever.

In Japan they will probably get like no attention. Their release will be overpowered by another idol-pop song by NMB anyways, so people literally would have no reason to listen to this song.

I go to H-mart all the time and I never hear like idol pop music, but they play a lot of OST and movie tie in music.

Other than that i never hear any stores ever playing k-music.

Oh this song sounds familiar, maybe I heard it in the background of a video before or something. It was a good song, very different from the usual shit boy groups seem to be putting out.

I never listened to DBSK andi have been following Kpop for almost their entire careers. Their music just never interested me.

 

 

She and Namie were in LA shooting PVs at the same time (3 for Namie, and Kuu did 2 PVs)~ Avex must be feeling generous. That's gotta be expensive.

Didn't Avex recently set up an office in LA? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah I mean I always could start taking courses and move on from their but I reallly don't want to. My mom keeps pushing me to go back to school but I refuse because tbh I am just afraid.

I have a job tho so I am slightly content, but tbh I am not even qualified for the job and only have it because my mom has connections.

But you know, you only live once, maybe one day I will go back to school and get a real career but until then I am just living for the moment.

I went on the Ayu tag on Tumblr and found some crazed Namie stan posted this:

 

 

She's on some rant about how Namie will eventually outsell Ayu overall, which I highly doubt.

It's doubtful, but I mean, Namie's longevity in the industry is amazing. But with today's market she could never amount enough sales to actually pass Ayu.
