The song where Ayu first SNAPPED

So, so, so lush and its a song that I think sounds better with her more mature voice especially when she really tries to slay in the chorus after the guitar solo.

Mandilinn can tell you more about it. She knows better about the thread than me. Its about the Music Station's ranking of good dancers that was conducted by gathering 1000 fans and asking them. Gonna go to sleep now.

lol i can imagine the shit storm if Namie wasn't number one

Avex added Ayu to Apple Music and someone there made a questionable playlist with a questionable description.

Pop stars don't come bigger than Ayumi Hamasaki, an artist with such a wide reach that many call her the “Empress of J-popâ€. The Fukuoka-born belter became one of the most celebrated singers in all of Asia, thanks to her R&B-tinged pop songs and especially her soaring ballads. Her forceful voice takes slow-building, string-swept numbers to gripping crescendos that make listeners feel like they can achieve any dream. She's dabbled in a variety of styles over the course of her successful career, but it all comes back to that impossible-to-ignore voice.

THE CROSSOVER I DID NOT EXPECT.

Releasing December 26th

Tracklist:

1. Hologram

Key: Because of this song I was able to come up with the overall concept of the album [defined by] old school, retro, 90’s [genre].
2. Why Are You Here (feat. CoCo)
A duet with lyrics that express the misgivings/misunderstandings of love between a man and a woman
3. POWER
Written and composed by Testuya from L'Arc-en-Ciel. A combination of 90s and modern times that can be described as Hybrid Rock Groove
4. City Girl
A song about the heart fluttering feelings of being in love from a “City Boy’s†POV
5. Gunjou no Yoru (An ultramarine night) ~One of Those Nights (Japanese Version)~
(t/n: â€œa deep blue night†would also work as a translation)

I will be around.

I wasn't really active in this thread before, but planning to be as I have no other place to share jpop love.

AHSforum is quite an active Jpop discussion board.

But this is for Ayumi Hamasaki forums though, not an J-Pop forums. J-Pop used to have some forums too, but they are all dead or closed.

I know honey but they have loads of general artist topics are still quite active too if you want to find fans of more obscure acts or request downloads
