Not sure what to think about the new male group yet, but they sound nice. I'm not really a fan of the slicked back hair they have in the video. Did you guys make a thread on it yet? People are always asking about new J-Pop debuts.

I had no idea you were doing it by yourself. Sorry if we make it hard on you Momo.

Not all Japanese male groups are bad-looking. Most LDH groups are pretty good looking :soul: numero.jp_news_Jsoul.jpg

no ikw I love Gene and 3JBS and EXILE(Takahiro is my eye-candy) am referring to the JE like HSJ etc although I like Kame, Jun, Junnosuke and they boys who were the 2 lead in ikemen desu not the blond 1 that's about it cause the rest don't have the manly concept as LDH which I totally love! And plus it's more of their vocals that had me over cause listening over to the song some of them have some smooth voices

No, it's just a feeling.

No, I don't get the whole indie idol thing. It's just as planned as the rest of them. Like if I wanted indie, why not listen to indie instead of an indie idol.

This just shows how bad the idea of a Japanese boyband is.

yup I blame JE... :._.:  all the LDH men....

I figured I'd post this even though we already know most of it:

Hopefully we get to the part of the 90s trend were soloists are big again soon.

Talented and a soloist? Not going to happen with the state the industry is in now.

She's a hipster. Her taste in music and men prove it.

I wouldn't be surprised if JYJ was done. They were supposed to have a new English album and/or Korean album out by now and look what we have instead: Junsu's second solo album.

The first 4 are on my Vimeo. The 5th's PV in on YouTube. I don't care for the last 2.

Maybe by time she grows up, the industry will change.

Why must you torment me? :(

I pray to the heavens it does

The drama is based on the best-selling same-titled novel by Shigematsu Kiyoshi. It tells the story of how a widower brought up his only son, after the death of his beloved wife. Ichikawa Yasuo, or Yasu as he is known, is a baka, with no paper qualifications to his name. However, like all normal parents, he dotes on his only son, Akira. Having grown up without his parents around, Yasu himself knows next to nothing of what parenting is about. With his wife, Misako, by his side, he had spent many happy days together with his little family. However, when Akira was 3 years old, Misako passed away suddenly from an accident. Heart-broken, and filled with regrets, Yasu pulled himself together, in order to care for his little son. Together with the help of his friends, Yasu overcame it all, and Akira grew up to be a bright and successful young man.

You weren't worried before?

A lil...but it just grew full bloom now...like what are they gonna do after the hallyu ends, specifically when ppl grow out of the hormone raged oppa/unnie stage....they haven't showcased anybody that has longevity or tenacity to go out and be an artist...

Look at all the pretty much former KPop fans in this thread. I see people on the KPop side trying to get into K-Indie but it seems like they only like it because it's Korean.

Topped:

Been jamming to this quite a bit recently:

I always urge people who claim to be getting tired of the Korean music scene to look into older Kpop releases. Most fans at this forum probably got into the genre between 2009-2012 so I always try to recommend good songs from the mid decade so that it isn't too retro, but also isn't too electropop/current.

For example, Lately I've been rekindling my love for old Ivy.

I really need to start a weekly "for those who missed" thread series in the k-section. But I'm just too damn lazy.

My my my....I like her heard bout her never checked..thank u I will
