Imo, I look much better in mirrors and in videos compared to photos. Sometimes I look at myself and say "I look cute today!" then I take a picture and I just...

Sort of. If you take a picture and you edit it so it's mirrored you might like the reflected version more since it's the face you've been looking at for most of your life. Meanwhile, other people might like the original more since that's the face they've been looking at.

Sometimes, I'm in a good mood and get in front of the mirror and say to myself... Well you look pretty good... I decide to take a picture and then I come looking like a fucking troll, ew.

 

Honestly unless you're highly photogenic, and have good editing skills, you'll always look better in a mirror than in pictures or videos. ( How big is the difference depends on you... for me There is a pretty big one, my face is asymetrical so it comes out looking weird af )
