queenyoona 884 Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 I just noticed that YG artist dont really perform in Music Bank, (yes you can call me late or whatever ) (this probably might be old news that i dont know about) But can someone tell me the specific reason why? Like what happen, did something bad happen? I was trying to google it but they didnt really give me a good answer, or i just didnt get it. Music Bank and YG are not in good terms , but last year they let 2NE1 promote in Music Bank but this year idk. That's so weird! Like why is music bank like that?! And yg is like the top 3 companies that's so weird, I wonder if music bank is connecting to sm. It started with YG artists not attending the 2010 KBS Gayo Daejun. Their reasoning was that KBS was giving out popularity awards when they declared they wouldn't. Since they're against that, they didn't attend (At that time, SBS and MBC didn't give out any awards during their gayo daejuns). From there, YG artists started to not attend Music Bank. This created news. When media outlets asked, YG cited that Music Bank's quality wasn't good. Then the whole "we want our artists to rest and not overwork 24/7" reasoning started to roll in. Music Bank however said that it was because YG wanted longer music stages and wanted their artists to perform 2 songs, which Music Bank didn't allow, since that would mean other idol groups would have to cut down their stages, thus unfair. (take note that MB has allowed other non YG groups to perform more than 1 song) They do however tried to mend their relationship and let groups lke 2NE1 appear on Music Bank. But if you realise, it's only for first week promotions, then they stop. It's very complicated really. & it's hard to determine the correct factor, unless we're an employee there. Yes I agree when BB release Fantastic baby i only saw them in running man and strong heart. I was kinda pissed. And also 2ne1 too running man and beatles code this year and that's all. hopefully yg like makes winner goes to reality shows, because I mean I'm kinda tired of seeing winner tv over and over again.
