On 21 August 2010, our beloved TVXQ returned to us and made their very first appearance on the stage as a duo.

With this 4th anniversary, we would like to present some facts & figures on the contribution of our beloved TVXQ to their company SM & the shareholders.

The figures show us exactly why TVXQ is in fact the KING in SME.

This data is presented by Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. a major Korean securities broker and asset manager.

The impact of their resumed activities?

Check SM financial reports and see how their sales increase after our duo came back!    :imstupid:

One can safely deduce from  the figures above,  TVXQ would have contributed the highest in terms of revenue for their company, dispelling the many fans' claim that their bias group is  the number 1. We are very proud & yet emulating  Yunho & Changmin at being modest in presenting these facts to all.

Please enjoy reading them    :chu:

Happy 4th Comeback Anniversary TVXQ!!!! THE KINGS!      :ahmagah:

info purposes...the figures also shows suju's .

edit: And they are fantastic figures too!

yeah... but this is mainly and solely about TVXQ though. it is not a big deal, i was just wondering because when the thread came up in the SJ tags and i opened it i didnt see anything related to SJ because the posts were still empty lol

wow they sold 700k tickets only in half a year? impressive  :datass:

random question....did you add suju-m sales as well?? I'm happy for every artist, but especially for tvxq and suju, since they have been around for quite some time and they still slay with the numbers!

Yeah it is obvious TVXQ is really important and big part of SM

but still I would say the biggest reason SM revenue went up after 2010 wasn't just because TVXQ came back it was because other SM artists SNSD, Shinee and Super Junior went to Japan and started earning a lot of money.

is TVXQ has the most ticket sold  in Kpop?

Or is it Big Bang?

altogether? no idea

you should ask some folks in the big bang thread for the numbers

but I do know that tvxq's concert attendance can actually compare with popular western artists

I never knew SUJU nearly sold 1m in 2012.

Now that is what I call impressive...

suju is coming back & their figures will def make a great impact ..

So far, only TVXQ's figures are there for the 1st Q.. We have 3 more to go...

This thread, apart from celebrating TVXQ's 4th anni CB, it's an info thread to show fans of other bias groups that SM still depend on the senior guard while waiting for the juniors EXO to move up & even out the dependency.

Undoubtedly,  EXO wuld be a great force. Let's hope the best for them.. :)

Yeah exo sold much more, I guess the original source is wrong? Their album sales data seems messy.

Since they added japanese sales for other groups, SHINee's sales are short of a 400k as well lolol

http://gaonchart.co.kr/chart/album.php?f_type=year

exo sold 300k+270k+262k+200k+200k+170k etc lol

The concert tickets data seems accurate tho

Happy 4th year comeback anniversary, TVXQ!

These figures are wow!

I never really look into their whole concert sales chart so this is all very impressive

No wonder people say that they can just stay & concentrate on Japan alone.....coz they totally slay there

I do want them to hold a proper World Tour though....

not just Asia

Again, cogratulations!!!!
