But weren't Chen and Baekhyun specialy casted for EXO though ??

 

SM had to find 2 main vocals and casted the two of them just before debuting EXO, that's why they had the shortest training time.

I honestly can't understand how they can deal with training for that long. 

Especially people like Seulgi and Suho who had to see their debut slip away and then wait ages for their own debut. Idk it seems crazy to me

Tbh I am amazed by Tao, he learned a new language and adapted with foreign culture in that short amount of time and successfully debuted with EXO

she's been in japan since 2007 but released her korean debut album this year only

I think Sunny should not be on this list, she was only under the SM tutelage for two months before debuting with SNSD. But Sunny became trainee in 1998 with Starlight Entertainment for five years and then transferred to Starworld Entertainment (Sugar agency and the label who discovered Iconiq) where was trained for another four years, so I think that takes away all the credit to these companies and gives too much credit to SM in the Sunny case.

She debuted at 19 but didn't find success. She debuted again this year and still....

when reading this, the person who make me felt sorry are krystal and sulli, they are still too young to debut as an idol, krystal was just 14 years old. OMG i can't believe SM is dare to debuting them in such young age. we all know idol life was difference with actress. and also for j-min, i hope SM will giving her a great korean album, her voice is so beautiful and she also can playing musical instrument. i like hearing her song recently, especially Hoo, this song really soothing my heart.
