mistressnicey 25,196 Posted May 30, 2013 Author Share Posted May 30, 2013 people said beast did great in 2011 because of luck, how about this time... is it still? beast actually releases their material when a lot of awesome songs come out... 2011- on rainy days came out 9th overall but it was released along with lonely and ma boy, and don't cry as well as pinnochio (danger) all of w/c came in the top 20 2012- beautiful night was released when psy churned out the #1 song of the yr, promoting alongside boa, sistar and t-ara (and i personally think there were just lots of non-idol songs that were really great last yr) and now 2013... this happens... all b2uties know the circumstances... just a digital single, no promotions, no hype, no full mv, no album yet, and a ballad at that... also hyori and CL releasing their stuff too... hopefully more people take them seriously now and not underestimate them... mistressnicey 25,196 Posted May 30, 2013 Author Share Posted May 30, 2013 I wasn't into charts in 2011, so if this song is breaking their records does it mean that On Rainy Days and Fiction isnt explosive but have very good longevity? i also didn't check charts before... yeah it wasn't, ORD was released when lonely was doing the all-killing... i think they got a certified all kill or was it a PAK? Their title tracks since Shock charts in top 100 right? yeah... i wasnt around during shock.. i became a fan around their beautiful promotions and i learned about kpop slowly... haha... i think shock was around rank 50-100 in the yearly charts 2010... idk but this is the first single they have released that they did an all kill for a day and a half now... usually they can somehow do an all-kill only after its release and a few hours like 2-3 maybe they dropped in the rankings... Not bad for the first hour, expect them to rise to the top 3 very soon though. The second one (Hyunsueng) did pretty decently well it got around 40m DA for the first 4 weeks I suspect it'll land in the #100s really i didnt know... i guess the one with yoseob did really well coz they even performed it once... i hope beast will perform WYBA even once coz i can't wait for july almost like 2 months from now... at least when they released i knew it, they performed it right away during the beautiful show concert w/c was a week after it was released i think? then we got to see fancams... they might win this... people in twitter are saying to vote for beast in inki but i dont know how...lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mistressnicey 25,196 Posted May 31, 2013 Author Share Posted May 31, 2013 I think we have to wait until they comeback first (or maybe if they are dominated for top2 ) I think they'll perform it on the first week of their comeback given they didnt choose other song to perform remember lonely? 2ne1 never meant to perform it and they performed it once on inki (beast didnt get a triple crown for fiction bec of it) because fans were begging and that it was doing so well... so maybe if b2uties beg cube? lol maybe they will perform it on music shows when they come back but i was disappointed at how they never performed midnight even once during their comeback... when they promoted fiction, they sang either ORD or the fact... i guess this time around, they don't have any choice but to perform WYBA since it's doing so well on the charts... Special MV? id rather have them perform it once... i want to see hyunseung and doojoon's perform their high notes... but a full mv would be fine too... ------- wow monstar is really good, i think all of the musical scenes are done live... i haven't really watched dream high or SUFBB but did they do that too on those dramas?
