It's supposed to be a cooking contest but they pretty much ate the whole time, lol.  ZN especially ate so many sandwiches and was so happy about it, it's funny.  She didn't want the show to stop.  Yulhee tried to eat a piece of ham when she thinks the camera isn't looking, but it was really obvious lol.  I feel bad for them a little bit tho, they must be starving half the time.

I really like this performance!  The camera work and video quality was good too.  (i fixed the tag for u ^^)  One of the youtube comments said that Yulhee and Solbin were part-time MC's for that Music Bank episode.

 

Laboum was on Simply K-Pop also, and got to perform 2 songs!  Aalow Aalow and Happy Joke (which they called "Are You Kidding?" ^_^)  There are some other segments too i think, haven't watched the full show yet but here it is.

Is this the first time they performed happy Joke (21:40)? I've never seen it before in Sugar Sugar promo cycle.

It was also part of their Random Play dance they did on afreeca tv.  I really love this video, the robot dance is so funny. ^^

On their recent After School Club appearance they were asked to guess which of the 4 comebacks the fans liked the most.  What About You was their last choice, even tho the fans liked that one the most by far.  I was surprised they didn't know that already!  I wonder if international fans have different tastes or something.

 

I personally like everything they've done so far, but What About You is definitely my favorite.  Sugar Sugar is probably my least favorite and was the least popular in the poll, which is unfortunate since it came before a long hiatus.  Fantasy is a great song that i always wish they had promoted.

We havent been able to use the existing badges even once, would be a bit frustrating if the whole voting was in vain ;; I'm pretty sure badge season will be soon anyway since it's almost been a year.

It is very nice of Suzy to show support. I also gotta shake my head that it take a popular idol mentioning them in one IG just to get people to check them out. Music alone should be enough. Sometimes you need a break like this in kpop. Regardless I hope the mention help.

 

The big agencies don't rely on music alone, tho. They use their connections, call in lots of favors, and (of course) spend lots of money to get the word out.  It's just the way it is.  As fans we should try to do the same thing.  Tell as many people as possible, write in and ask shows to put Laboum on, just raise the awareness any way u can. ^^

 

I totally love their new songs and choreo.  Imagine More is a catchier title than Journey to Atlantis, but whatever lol.  3 Strike Out is probably my favorite of all the songs.  I hope they start playing that a lot at baseball games, since the season just started.

I haven't seen any negative response to it, the worst was 'how did they get that CF?'. Which is a mystery to me too  

 

Their role in the CF isn't to sell the product with their fame, it's to represent Kpop to the international audience in a silly, in your face way.  Most viewers wouldn't know which Kpop groups were famous anyway.  Laboum has always been good at making fun of themselves, and being big and goofy like the CF.  I'm happy they're making money no matter what tho.  Extra attention is always good.
