I'm gonna wait for the Kbs World subbed dream team.  I guess since it aired in Korea already it was pointless to hope for spoilers, but it'll still be fun to watch i'm sure.  I love the jokes the MC's tell as much as the action, lol.

 

Got my signed albums today!  They are really gorgeous.  Really good quality too, like everything Laboum. ^_^

 

Oh i saw their appearance in the Lim Chang-Jung video today... Haein, Solbin, Soyeon and Yulhee were in it.  I realize a million people were in the video, but does that mean those 4 members are from Nega and the other 2 are from NH?

Some where earlier in the thread someone sorted out who was from which company. I'm pretty sure it was 3 from each company?

Maybe the other members were sick or had other activities?

I remember ZN and Yujeong were on a variety show together without the other members so maybe they were doing that, while the other 4 did the MV 

 

I was all kinds of confused anyway, because Lim Chang-Jung is from NH, not Nega.  Yea i remember that earlier in the thread, but they said it was never explicitly confirmed so i was just curious.  Here are the posts:

There's another Laboum thread at Entasia i found about recently, about the same activity there tho.  It'd be nice if we could combine the 2. ^^

Yulhee was so cute!  And fierce too!  I loved it when she wouldn't stop at the whistle, lol.

 

I want to watch the Meet & Greet but it's like 3am for me so i'll probably sleep.  I hope they read mine this time tho... will be fun to watch the video later anyway.

lol some of the comments "Laboum should've let their seniors win" LOL please get out of there with that. They won fair and square. They need to go be salty and pressed somewhere else. I wouldn't worry too much about it btw. They can't say "I don't like Laboum because they won on Dream Team 2 and not my unnies :(" They'll look like idiots.

super glad shes getting some solo stuff but at the same WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER MEMBERS??!?!? I really hope laboum wont be the kind of group to just focus on one member cause im already in too deep with haein and the rest of the girls ;_____;

 

 

 

Nah, i wouldn't worry about that yet.  They all have different strong points, and some will do modeling and some will do other stuff.  Haein will probably want to get into acting, but it'll be a while before they really focus on solo things (i hope!).  Right now any attention that 1 member gets will help the group as a whole.

 

 

 

Personally i hope at least one of them makes it big on variety shows!  Not sure who it would be tho, maybe Yulhee?

Near the beginning i think they were saying ZN looks like Gain (in the eyes at least, not her height).  And Solbin looks like Hyeri, so they asked her to imitate her famous pout.  Maybe we should ask if any BEG or Girl's Day subbers want to do it, lol.

I'm not very active on this topic, but I was wondering if we were going to decide on badges for the girls anytime in the future. I wouldn't mind helping using my won and keeping some of the badges (especially for Haein and Solbin). ^^ Just wondering! 

 

I don't think I've introduced myself either. I'm Mina~ ^^ My bias is undecided as of now, but I really like Solbin atm.

Yeah, but usually groups wait longer than 6 months. They should wait at least a year imo but the longer the better, especially when Kpop isn't really a thing in Japan anymore save the groups who already had some popularity and decent fanbases. iirc the reason most Kpop groups debut in Japan is because the companies can add two years to their contracts if they participate in international activities (so 7 years instead of 5). A Japanese debut is fine with me but I just hope their company doesn't get ahead of themselves and focuses on what's important now, which is gaining popularity in Korea. It could be disastrous if they try Japan too early when they don't have a solid enough fanbase at home.

 

Since i was the subber on that one i should explain it better.  I think they don't have any current plans to debut in Japan.  It's just on their radar for the future.  The last thing Yujeong said which i translated as "Please wait until we go", really meant "Please wait until we are ready to go".  I think she felt compelled to say something to potential Japanese fans since they were on a Japanese tv program, but i really don't get the sense it would be any time soon.

 

Hey, i saw this article headline and it made me think of ZN, 'the girl who leaves a scent':

That article is saying how successful their debut was compared to many other rookie groups (who often disappear).  Also how they are a "budding star in the music industry", and are getting a lot of attention for both their looks and ability.

 

It introduced each member also, but it was all stuff that was mentioned in other interviews and articles.

 

Probably a promotional article, but that doesn't mean it isn't true!  ^_^

OMG YAYYY What does the 8:28pm mean? They record it at that time, I guess? Poor girls, wanted to buy that expensive ice-cream but couldn't lol.

 

"Laboum Time" is 8:28 because they debuted on August 28th.  Idols do that with their birthday... like Nicole was born on October 7, so you will see her mention "Nicole Time" for 10:07.  Laboum published this video at 8:28 PM (in Korea), and from reading the description it sounds like it might be a daily thing!

Did anyone get their $50 Laboum package from Mwave? What's the difference between the two albums that look the same? 

 

I got mine and I'm just wondering. 

 

I got mine today!  The "Data Pack" is the 2nd one, and has 3 GB of data files on it (mostly videos). The 2 songs on the Data Pack are different also, that What About You is the remixed version they promoted, and Winter Party is new.  Petit Macaron is the 1st version of the album and only has the 3 songs, but it has better packaging and booklet imo.

 

I noticed that Soyeon started signing her name with music notes on the 'o's also.
