Welcome! First of all, can you introduce yourselves and your roles in the group?
Hello, we are Laboum!
ZN: I am the girl with a delicate scent in Laboum
Yul-hee: I am energetic one in Laboum
Yu-jeong: I am Laboum’s cutest member with a plump under-eye area
So-yeon: I am the one with the beautiful voice~
Hae-in: I am Laboum’s most talented member
Sol-bin: I am Laboum’s naughty one! [giggles]

What would you say is the concept of your group?
Each member has different charming personality, and our overall group has a positive energy and good vibes. When we come together it is like a party! (Laboum means ‘the party’ in French)

The title track of your debut mini album is called ë‘ê·¼ë‘ê·¼ (Pit-a-Pat)– Can you tell us the story behind the preparation of the song?
We’ve been practicing and working hard on choreography for the song. It’s been made ready to perform in our first debut stage. Sadly, we didn’t get chance to perform it as we wanted but we would love to show you guys when we come to UK next time!

There are a lot of girl groups who debuted in 2014. What would you say makes you stand out from the rest of them?
Our concept is mainly fun and playful. Also we always include something that you should pay attention to the most when you watch our videos, whether it is our live stages or MVs. We have a variety of stage settings and visual effects that show off our personality more.

Being an idol is hard work- what are the things that keep you going?
- We are always doing our best to become the best for our fans!
- We really appreciate it when our fans come to support us. At our last performance, hundreds of fans come out to cheer us on! Our fans have always shown us tremendous support- They always monitor us, cheer us up and help motivate us to work harder. We appreciate it so much!
- We also talk to our parents often on the phone.
- And if there are any issues, we talk about them with our team members- we always support each other.

Apart from singing, do you have any unique talents amongst yourselves like cooking or art? Tell me more about it if you do!
So-yeon: In my spare time, I like to sleep! [laughter]
Sol-bin: I love to cook!
Hae-in: Nail art! I love doing my nails.
Yu-Jeong: I do a lot of exercise in my spare time. I am pretty flexible because of this- I can stretch my legs pretty wide

Obviously, a few years down the line, you want to be able to tour and visit other countries. Are there certain countries/cities that you would like to visit one day?
Hae-in: The UK comes first!
So-yeong: Personally, I’ve always dreamed of living in the UK. Once I heard that we are having an interview with [JaK Wave] from UK, I was very excited. If we get chance to perform in other countries in the future, we would definitely love to go to UK and met our fans there

 So what is next for Laboum? What can we as fans look forward to?
We still have many more aspects of ourselves that we haven’t shown yet! We are  doing our very best to show our different sides as well as the great performances  so please look forward to it and support us!

 Finally, do you have any messages for your fans within the UK?
Hello, UK Fans! We are glad that we got to meet our fans through this great  opportunity [in talking through JaK]. We hope there will be many more in the  future for us to spend time with our fans in the UK. Take care!
