In my opinion, a band has to practice together for more time so it wouldn't sound like random people were put together and are playing instruments. It needs a special chemistry. Now when it comes to dancing groups, you can do that with a few rehearsals. I don't know if Jungyeop thinks like this, too. Also, I want Minjoong to debut soon. He's been waiting forever.

I don't know why, but I feel like I can't believe it. There's not even one single name known by the fans.

the girls also said her cousin joined few months ago as a rapper and a dancer his name is kim taesung and he's 18 .

Where dis you get this? Kfans seem to know nothing about him.

People aren't allowed to say if a relative is a trainee, so the chances of her lying are high...

 

Seriously, there are many people spreading fake info online, one Facebook page even posted EXID's Hani pic saying it was former Woollim trainee. Sighs.

Okay, let's go.

 

1- Woollim trainees can't have sns at all once they become trainees (that being said by a few ex-trainees like Chaerin, Jungeun, Minji, Inbin, Woong and another boy trainee that was never revealed to the public, and the girls were never in the line up for Lovelyz). But some trainees keep their sns hidden, but once Woollim finds out, they have to delete it (that's why Myungeun deletes and reactivates her Facebook all the time). "Confirmed" members also can have an account if they keep it in secret (almost all Lovelyz girls had Facebook accounts), Boseung had a Facebook account and deleted it not long ago because the fans kept finding it and Sungyoon still has one (but he uses another name, not his real one).

 

2- No, a trainee's relative can't say anything about a trainee in the company. It IS a part of the contract.

 

3- Lee Jungyeop himself said that he's preparing a band in his interview.

 

4- This person said that only the confirmed members walk through the front gate, so it should mean Haejoon is confirmed. Yet this person said that once the member is confirmed, he can't have a Facebook account, but Haejoon has one and is pretty active on it.

 

5- Kfans already knew about Sungyoon and Boseung, they just didn't want to reveal before they were public known. Isn't it weird that no kfan knows about them at all?

 

I'm not saying that this person is totally lying, I just find it suspicious, especially because the story doesn't match what the ex-trainees said. Take everything with a grain of salt, guys.

When did the CEO talk about a band? I read all of his interviews many times but I may have missed this.

 

And I bet they're trying to find more visuals with the male only auditions. Woollim always does this. They added Sungjong and Sungyeol to Infinite last and they also added Yein to Lovelyz last.

Yeah, possibly they are looking for visuals since they already have the dancers and vocalists (Minjoong's deep voice gives me main vocalist vibe, Haejoon is possibly main or lead vocalist as well, I love his voice, and from the little part Sungyoon sang in 1/3, he also sounds like lead vocal material).

Yeah, you guys are probably right I'm sure they are looking for visuals to add to the group since the other "confirmed" members already seem to be very talented, so Woollim doesn't necessarily need to recruit more talented trainees as of now. Also, my friend who auditioned today saw Daeyeol. He said he was wearing a grey-ish shirt and black pants with a mask on. He said Daeyeol was walking to the front entrance of Woollim. Also, he said his hair got even brighter- it's now a bright gold-ish color and not just brown. I'm sure there are pictures somewhere online since my friend saw bunch of Japanese and few korean girls with cameras and their phones out. I guess they are gonna debut soon :D Also, my friend said that it seemed as if Woollim was focusing more on the good looking people at the audition today.

 

This is a more detailed explanation of the audition if any of you guys are curious about what happened (I hope i'm allowed to write a long post. I'm sorry if it's annoying  )

He and the other boys were escorted to B1 floor of woollim entertainment, which was an huge practice room at 12:00. He was given a sticker with a number and a form to fill out by three women. My friend said more than 40 people came to the audition today. He was the 13th person to audition. Btw, when he saw the elevator, right next to it was the floor numbers. He doesn't really remember which floor number it was because he was nervous, but one of the floor numbers said Acube on it. He also said that the practice room was the same practice room as the practice room Lovelyz practiced in their show. Anyway, he went inside the practice room and filled out his form and was asked to leave the place and comeback at 1:50 since the audition officially started at 2:00. When he came back all the boys were told to stand in the order of their number. Then they were all asked to sit down. He was shocked since he thought, like most Woollim auditions, he would be able to audition alone in a room, but this time they didn't. They did the audition in the big practice room (B1 floor) and everyone was watching. This totally threw him off. There was only one judge with a huge camera right in front of her. She would control the camera and also be in charge of the audition. Also, she would let good looking people who weren't that 'talented' to sing/dance longer than those were talented but normal looking. Also, she would start to look at the audition form more closely and adjust the camera multiple times whenever a good person came up. And if anyone was good, the other people who were auditioning would clap. So, I guess Gokai and Myungju is correct about Woollim looking for visuals. That was pretty much the audition. Oh, and he saw Daeyeol after he filled out his audition form and came out of the practice room around 12:30. He didn't see the other boys.

I wana ask this to anyone who has an idea. Why does it seem like woollim have so little trainees compared to other companies? Are they really picky with who they accept? Or is it that they don't get that many people to audition for them like other companies.

 

Woollim treats their artist very well but maybe potential trainees just don't find the company that attractive?

 

I think Woollim is really picky. But with Woollim Girls there were like 15-20 trainees once, then some left and others were kicked. I think Woollim usually does that: gather a lot of trainees and kick some out later, yet they don't worry about gathering trainees until they are planning to release a group.

I haven't heard Minjoong's singing voice, but his voice is so deep when he speaks.

I swear that whenever I hear Minjoong's voice, I die a little. It's just so beautiful. But yeah, he may actually be a rapper, not a main vocalist. But since he's been training since 2009, I expect him to be at least at lead vocal level even if he raps.

So...its been a long time since I've been around OH. I took a break to deal with bad feels, then got notified that I had to move in a week, then moved and now won't have net at my new place until Friday. I just wanted to drop in and say how much I miss you guys and how much it sucks being behind on the news and not being able to spazz with you guys. When I get my net on Friday I'll have a lot of reading up to do.

Some guys must be the new ones who joined through the recent auditions (or the guys from the band, we don't know). But yessss, I'm excited!

 

I'm almost sure that Boseung is the guy walking beside Haejoon (in all black with something written on his shirt). The other guy in all black seems to be the guy in Infinite H's As Long As You're Not Crazy MV.

 

The last guy seems like a Gyu 2.0. xD

The only way I'd be supportive of releasing the boys as solos was if it was the same situation as Lovelyz where they didn't have a group picked but wanted the girls not to leave the company. The solos were placed over three years. If Woollim released the boys as solos that would be because they have no intention to debut them for several years which I don't think is the case. They have the 9 boys moving around together. Debut is coming. It would be silly to release one as a solo. If they are ready for debut then it as OT9.

 

There are only four boys confirmed so far (Minjoong, Daeyeol, Sungyoon and Boseung), not even the number of members is decided, so I think the solos would be good.

 

I think I'm the only one against the 9-members-group idea. I think it's too much. I personally don't like huge groups (more than 8 members), but if they are 9, I'll stan them anyway.

 

And my favorite until now is Minjoong, with Daeyeol and Boseung tied in 2nd.
