I just came to say this, but I was kinda late. lol This is Woong for sure.

 

I also think that's Minjoong, and probably another trainee that left Woollim later. Some people say that they're Tasty twins, but they don't look like Tasty at all.

He is. He moved to Dream Vocal (another academy) later, and that was when he got into Woollim.

 

He's a vocalist, and I spotted him in the wedding picture.

 

 

It seems like he likes this pose. lol

I think the one circled in light green is Boseung, because he looks mature (?), but not sure tho. Anyway, there is still one boy left to find.

Apparently Jeon Woong friend said that he's really nice and deserves becoming a trainee. Since I don't know Korean very well, I am not sure if that's exactly what she said, but I'm sure about the nice part.

Here's a video of him. He's the one in red (I think. Can someone help me to check it out?) and he's from Daejeon. It seems like he's an all rounder since he can rap as well and I've seen some pictures of him in the dancing room.

I don't want to sound delusional or stupid, but I kinda "discern" what their name will be, I always wanted Woollim's girlgroup to be called Radiance, but deep inside I knew it would be something related to "love", so my guess might be right, it simply came to my mind one day LOL and no, I'm not a foreteller or anything like that -.- if I'm correct, their name will start wit a "U"

Woollim trainee, Lee Daeyeol to debut through To Heart’s ‘Tell Me Why’ MV!

Woollim Entertainment said on the 4th, Lee Daeyeol, brother of Infinite’s Lee Sungyeol has just finished shooting the music video of the song ‘Tell Me Why’ from To Heart’s first mini album.

Born in 1993, Lee Daeyeol was a trainee under Woollim entertainment for two years. Last year in ‘SBS Law of the Jungle’ his face was unveiled through the introduction of Sungyeol’s family. He was also a former backup singer and dancer of Tasty.

Two Heart’s ‘Tell Me Why’ is a sad farewell to the denied feelings of a man. On the 7th, the new remix version of the song will be released.

Infinite’s Woohyun and Shinee’s Key was united as ‘Two Heart’. Following their title song ‘Delicious’ which received great love they will release their next single ‘Tell Me Why’ on the 7th.

Just read this in a thread talking about agencies' plans for 2015

 

Woollim

- Will be promoting INFINITE in a variety of ways, starting with INFINITE-H and Sunggyu's solo album.

- INFINITE is also preparing a group album so fans will have a continuous flow of INFINITE promos

- New boy group is also being prepared, scheduled for debut as soon as LOVELYZ makes a name for themselves

- Their biggest concern is how well LOVELYZ will do because their following projects are scheduled around that

- Woollim will also be building a special room for their fans in the company building

 

Well, I guess that's the answer. It might take two years... Lovelyz are far from "making a name for themselves" right now as I understand that expression. I would expect this group for 2016 Q4 or 2017 Q1.

 

The translation I saw said that Woollim will reveal the boys once Lovelyz make a name to themselves, I was just about to post it now.

Just remembering that revealing =/= debuting. Baby Soul was revealed back in 2011, Jiae in 2012 and Jin in 2013 (musically speaking), I think Woollim is gonna do pretty much the same with the boys.

Infinite got their first win in 2011 and BS came right after, so, as soon as Lovelyz get their first win, Woollim is probably gonna release solos for the boys or feature them in their artists songs/concerts (not just an appearance, but singing/rapping). I still believe they'll debut in 2016.

I'd rather they did diary vlogs or something unofficial rather than having solo promotions like Lovelyz did. They could easily start building up some background chatter for the boys without pushing them in front of Lovelyz's promotions. Either way I'm glad Woollim is being vocal about the boys.

 

I think everyone got attached to Woong, he's a cutie and he seems to have potential. I believe Woollim won't let him go easily since he has the vocal + rap + dance + visual combo.

 

Vlogs would be awesome as well. Actually, I'm okay with anything as long as we get their profile. But the only thing that I doubt about the vlogs happening is that probably Woollim still haven't decided how many members they're gonna be + who's in or who's not, so it'd only show Daeyeol, Minjoong, Sungyoon and maybe the unknown guy.

 

Since our holy trinity original trio have proven to be great dancers, I think doing dance covers of Infinite's and Tasty's choreos would be a great way to gain some popularity for now.

 

That's something really original, too, but I don't know if it would bring attention from Korean people in general... Maybe they could cover many other artists (singing and dancing) and upload it, probably it'd bring more views.

Remember those auditions Woollim held? If I'm not wrong Jangjun, Donghyun, Boseung and Woong were already trainees at Woollim when that happened right? This is just a theory but would it be too delusional to think Woollim wants to prepare a boygroup with 9 members? (you know, Infinite are 7 and Lovelyz are 8). Maybe they'll add two more members (?) I think groups with a lot of members tend to become successful, at least if they're from a known agency   I know quantity has nothing to do with quality but as I see it, the more members the more the chance of being liked, especially if Woollim manages to do media-play properly. Anyway, this is all a theory but maybe we'll know of two more male trainees soon    TBH I feel this group will have 6 members, but the idea of lefting either Woong, Jangjun, Boseung or Donghyun out makes me sad   (lol I haven't even seen most of their faces)

 

Now that I think about it, there are only 6 trainees that didn't leave in the wedding picture, I looked for more people that looked like trainees there and I couldn't find any. Lovelyz' album was after the auditions, so it means that only one person got into Woollim (or others got in and trained for a short period).

I also think that this group is going to have 6 members, which is a good number in my opinion.

Not sure, but I think it might be Woong who wasn't at the wedding/wasn't a trainee by that time. Also, maybe the "thanks to" part of the album was prepared before the auditions?? idk to be honest 

 

Woong was in the wedding picture. He was casted early 2014.

Usually the Thanks To part is made when the album gets done, it's the last part in the album-making, so it is recent. For now, we only have those names, but Woollim is probably gonna hold more auditions this year and I believe they'll add a member in the very last minute like they did with Yein and Sungyeol.

But there's something we're missing then. Only Boseung, Jangjun and Donghyun were mentioned in Jin's "thanks to"; why wouldn't she mention Woong if he had been a trainee for more time than one of those three? So there's two options:

 

- The four of them were trainees before the auditions, but one of them couldn't go to the wedding/can't be seen the wedding photo (I believe this is what happened).

 

- Your theory is correct and one of the 4 trainees we're talking about got into Woollim after the auditions (but I don't think Jin would leave Woong out of her "thanks to" and say thanks to someone that has been in Woollim for... 2/3 months?

 

As far as I've read, there were only 7 male trainees in Woollim (Daeyeol, Minjoong, Sungyoon, Boseung. Woong, Jangjun and Donghyun). Maybe ths means there were more trainees before the audition, like I said before, because Jin can't be so mean as to leave only one male trainee out 

 

Jin also mentioned Woong. She mentioned all the trainees, boys and girls.

 

 

 

Also to Min Joong, Dae Yeol, Bo Seung, Sung Yoon, Jang Joon, Woong, Dong Hyun, So Yoon, and Bora, fighting!

I think that there were only those 7 at least until December. Woollim usually holds auditions on February, so we can expect more people in and out.

 

By the way, I was only thinking about it now. We can see that she didn't did age order because Daeyeol is the oldest, but maybe she used the order that they got in? First Minjoong, then Daeyeol, then Boseung (maybe the guy who replaced Gyu since him being a '96 liner is just a rumor), then Sungyoon, then Jangjun, then Woong (who got in early 2014) and Donghyun is our new fresh face. Soyoon also got into Woollim before Bora and is younger than her.

Hm, the academy has stopped doing it for a while, probably because the companies asked them because people were finding out about the trainees. It only released one video of Woong and it is from when he was in the vocal/rap team. He switched academies and companies a lot before going back and getting into the dance team. Then he switched again to an academy in Seoul.

So Daeyeol might be the leader? If he's anything like sungyeol, I can already see the embarassing things that will be conceived. 

 

Since he's the oldest, probably. From the interviews he was in, he seems to be more mature than Sungyeol. If it's not him, then the leader is Minjoong for sure.
