I was, but found an apartment off campus at the last minute. It's a share house so I have 5 other roommates (so far).

Im still packing as we peak. I can only take 2 suitcases and a carry on and I'll be away for 4 months, so I am struggling OTL. Im doing this next semester in Korea so I have to pack all of the stuff I cant buy over there, which is taking up more space and weight ugh

I'm going to go to a uni next year, I'm not sure if I want to dorm or not. But since the lovely people in this thread already graduated, will you guys give me some tips and helpful sites for financial help and scholarships that you guys used? ^_^ Thank you!

I'll be a freshmen so I'm 1 year older and I don't have experience just YET haha but let me see if I can be of help

Apply for LOCAL scholarships in your highschool/city/state ~ websites like fastwebs are a WASTE of time and it's national so the changes of recieving the scholarship is lessened due to competition

Look for scholarships through your university/college~ My uni had a list of scholarships from alumni/donors on their website and you need to apply for them through the university so I would reccomend calling your uni's financial aid office and see if you have something similar to this

Apply for as many scholarships as you can! $500 may seem little but when you get MULTIPLE scholarships it really adds up!

I actually qualified and applied for so many that I am actually getting scholarship money BACK!! So basically I am going to uni for freeee and making money loool!!!

Ikr that seems crazy but its possible!! Also if you have interviews for your scholarship seem MOTVIATED and personable! Scholarship donors want to see their money being put into good use~ also volunteer before senior year bc volunteering helps get you points with scholarships and talk about giving back to the community

Don't fret if you don't get scholarships in the beginning of senior year~ I actually was scared I didn't get many but they started coming in during spring of senior year!!
