Also majority of them are smart and have a great education. But sunggyu family might be the only one who went through a hard time during his childhood. Tho the fact that even his sister can be a successful dentist makes his family background seem very well educated even with their not so well off situation

Their family clearly worked very hard to get back on their feet, all the more reason why they wouldn't have wanted to see Sunggyu with an uncertain job as an idol.

TBH I made a Gyu song playlist wherein I included songs that remind me of Sunggyu (whether they are songs he's covered or said he liked) and Young and Beautiful is on there only because of The Genius, and how it represents my sadness at him being eliminated.

 

This makes a brilliant reaction gif btw. A lot of his expressions on this show were gif'able.

i don't want to start anything with you guys but i find it kind of rude to delete my comment when it wasn't as problematic as the one i was replaying to. i wonder how you guys would have reacted if someone went to woohyun's thread just to trash on sunggyu when his stans are all worried about him...

anyway i'm glad they apologized and i sincerely hope nobody will say something that stupid around here again.

 

off topic but i can't believe this fandom have gotten to that point of stupidity when rather than being glad about woohyun's recovery the fans are getting mad at him for something he obviously can't control (like he can take a break whenever he want lmao). conveniently forgetting that he got to go through comeback promotion, drama filming and concert while injured last year. to the point of ending up with a chronical pain that he still treat to this day (when shoulder dislocation should recover in a month or two at best woohyun's still draging all this time because he didn't treat it well back then, obviously because he had no time to rest -which remind me of how shitty woollim is oops-). but for inspirits this doesn't count. what's more alarming is that he went out and dared not looking like total shit, scandalous!...

this isn't directed at any user specifically but at the general drama in this fandom 

 

 

 

I feel like I live in the wrong time zone. I always wake up to read about shit that supposedly happened but I never saw for myself. I still havent seen anyone say anything bad about Woohyun on twitter, but I mean someone must have if it got to this point. I think everyone should just stay out of the boys' issues. Before I would have said differently, but people have become too involved in matters they don't know anything about nor can control. I hope Woohyun recovers and is doing well because I miss him.

i just realise sunggyu got so little part in Footsteps and Moonlight   i'm glad the other boys start to get more line 

 

 

He also doesn't have that many lines in For You, at least not that I could tell.

oh it's true, he has less line than Hoya, and almost equal as myungsoo. For You is 30% woohyun voice 

 

It makes sense though, the song is suited for Woohyun's vocals because the backtrack itself is too electronic, it makes a good contrast. Whereas Sunggyu's voice comes off thin, and kind of gets lost.

the song comes out good, i'm not surprised that it suits hoya and woohyun. And infinite line distribution has always been about who suit the song the most, he will get the most line. People just don't get that sometimes

 

Speaking of Hoya, something I appreciate about his voice is that it goes well with both Sunggyu and Woohyun, even when Sunggyu and Woohyun's voices might not always mix.

If I could request a song, I'd want it with Infinite H + Sunggyu. They could make some really good music.

 

You and I think alike. I have always wanted a Infinite H + Sunggyu song, or a Hoya + Sunggyu r&b track.

Yes! Definitely an R&B track! They would pull it off really well. Before Sunggyu's solo album was announced, I was kind of hoping he'd attempt R&B, but since I got Alive out of the masterpiece that is the 27 album, I don't mind.

 

Yeah, he did say r&b was something he wanted to try, so I was curious if his next album was going to do that or stick to his rock roots. When I heard Jongwan was producing it I knew it was going to continue in the steps of his first album, but I'm not disappointed either. Tablo offered to produce his next album, it would be great if he followed through. That would be amazing. I can see him doing a rock and r&b fusion. It'd be something new.

hoya voice even suit myungsoo, In For You he mixes well with myung and it sound beautiful when their voice blend together

True, but that also might be partly because Myungsoo is a good harmonizer himself.

but can we speak about sungjong voice??? i love his falsetto and his deep voice it adds such a great layer to Infinite songs  i'm really loving myungsoo voice recently, something about the way he pronounce his words that make me drawn to it

 

If only people could appreciate their voices more instead of fighting about who gets what. All of them are gems.

Birth of a new idol friendship???

Myungsoo is an absolutely adorable human being. He has his strengths and he has weaknesses. I think it's wrong to call him a horrible singer just because they don't like this tone. He's actually pretty steady a good majority of the time. He's only gotten better overtime, too.

 

Sungjong's gotten better, too, but he still has ways to go judging from how he sung Woohyun's parts in Be Mine.

 

Infinite's harmony plays a large part in me becoming a fan of their songs. They don't grate on my ears. Only Sunggyu's occasionally bother me and it makes me wonder he sings like he does in A Person Like Me. I think that kind of song would have been better if it was focused around Woohyun's voice instead.

 

A Person Like Me is an abomination that I occasionally remember and then try to forget. He also has another questionable part in Footsteps, but I blame the editing in that one for exaggerating the sharpness of his voice. Sunggyu pushes out a lot of air when he sings certain notes. He's learned to control that a bit but he needs more consistency.
