And why do i hear that SMrookies will be in it? So is that the first episode? Why is Chanyeol in it but he isn't singing? (And can I get the name of whoever is singing it? thanks) And why is everyone bashing their new variety show? i dont think its as bad as everyone is making it out to be? Not trying to offend anyone tho, just pointing it out. I think that it's understandable why some people are mad. Sure, exo was also promoted using their "sunbaes" as well, but these sm rookies are literally singing the whole song with the exception of one exo member (chen) even though this was supposed to be an "exo remake". They were also in the mv half the time. In fact they had more roles in the mv/song than exo did (and seeing how they're going to be in the next mv remakes as well, we can clearly see where this is going.) Even when exo themselves got to appear in other stars' music videos it was always just for a couple of seconds (and they didn't even get to sing.) EXO has NEVER been in someone else's variety show to the point where it seems more about them than the actual artist, and they have never been in someone else's music other than a small cameo. This EXO variety show is half EXO and half rookies which clearly doesn't make sense. Even in this video you have multiple rookies, but only one exo member when this whole show was sold on "Wathcing EXO remake videos of past popular videos from the 90's in 2014" so like... yeah. Not even remotely close to how SM promoted EXO. No one cares that SM is promoting the rookies because it's expected, but this whole SMROOKIES project SM has going on is beginning to go a little too far. The show is called EXO90:2014 which means that the people tuning in are Exo fans expecting to see them since their name is in the title.
