SECRET's Hana admits she changed her name because of a burger

On the August 15 installment of JTBC's 'Witch Hunt,' SECRET's Hana revealed the main reason why she changed her name from Zinger.

As the girls were being introduced, the MCs brought up the fact that Hana used to go by Zinger as her stage name. 

 

Sung Si Kyung joked, "It's probably because she got mistaken for a burger a lot" (In reference to the KFC Zinger Burger). Hearing this, fellow MCs Shin Dong Yup, Heo Ji Woong and Hong Suk Chun asked, "Wait, really? Is that really the reason?"

 

Hyosung chuckled and said, "She was pushed aside by the burger..." and Hana admitted it really was why she changed her name. "If you would search my name, you'd get more results about the burger first. So I decided it wasn't going to work out," she said.

Lol it makes sense but it also backfired since people still call her/know her by zinger she should have went with Jung Hana in the first place that was bad move by TS.

 

On a side note: the zinger burger while not available in American KFC's is actually pretty good. I wonder why they don't have it in the states. Maybe KFC wouldn't get pushed back by chick fil a if they did.

lol Zinger was a good compelling name for her. Never would've guessed that was the reason why though.. thought she wanted to start anew, so she changed to a much more nicer one.
