Only other game I played in this series was Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and these 2 are very similar, so far. Which means I will enjoy it. I am completely unfamiliar with these types of games. As far as I am aware, it will take an obscenely long time to get the platinum trophy. A couple of tips that I wish I knew earlier on would've probably cut around 20 hours and possibly more of needless grinding. But platinum accomplished, regardless. Currently playing Disgaea 5 digitally. Pretty fun game. Apparently they made it much easier to progress in post game and more forgiving in terms of end game stats and progression. I gotta say the initial farming for the main grinding method post game was a real slog. Needed to farm an "attachment" (innocent) for equipment/ weapons but you aren't initially strong enough to farm high level monsters to level up squads adequately or level up characters quickly. Eventually, the dam broke and now I am currently in the process of min maxing my characters. I don't think I will go full blown, but the methods established are fairly easy, all things considered. atreyuavenged 162 Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Just finished up Dark Cloud 2. Think I got platinum at 174 hours. Was a really good game. Had a Rogue Galaxy feel to it. There were quite a few missables, mostly related to photography and thus, inventions. But it wasn't to big of a deal if your careful and have a few back up saves. Currently trying Witcher 3. Picked it up discounted. Still in tutorial phase and trying for the counter attack trophy, but I absolutely suck. :/ My one gripe is that my ps4 doesn't seem to agree with the game. Had this issue before with a previous ps4 and that one eventually bricked due to over heating, so my fear is that the same thing will happen again. Haven't gotten around to getting plat on ps3 version and here I am trying it for the ps4 version. One complaint so far is that the saving and loading is slower then before. Not sure if the game freezing and what not will still be an issue. Hopefully they have fixed that. Also not sure if they've touched the trophies yet since they aren't even updated yet. As long as it doesn`t blow up my ps4 that is. If that`s a no go, I still got FF9, Resogun, Dark Cloud, Ys Origin and/or Wild Arms 3 on the back burner. A gripe for me is the first game ends in an absolutely terrible spot and I don't have access to the second game at the moment. Hopefully soon. Trying out Tokyo Xanadu Ex+. I read it's like Trails and Ys and that's all I needed to hear. Been playing it for a couple days and can't quite get used to the battle mechanics. Incredibly cute game with chibi characters and chibi monsters and tons of featured character cameos from past games. I really enjoyed it and would definitely pick up the sequel should such a thing ever come to be. Gonna try Nier Automata now. Heard nothing but high praise and I can't. Only problem is that it makes my ps4 go into overdrive and I am paranoid about that since I already had one ps4 overheat into oblivion. Doesn't seem to do that with digital games, but when I use a physical game, then we got a problem. Which sucks for me since I prefer having physical copies.
