Didn't know that Namie Amuro could play the piano but it adds a certain level of intimacy and delicacy to the record. Let Me Let You Go is shaping up to be a gorgeous record one of the better ballads that she has released as of late because it comes across much more personal. Wasn't bothered by her English on this record because her pronunciation is a bit stronger and it isn't difficult to hear her on this record because of the quieter nature of it. Visually stunning!

She explained the July issue of Sweet that she's leaving a bunch of these songs in English because they're better than trying to awkwardly translate them to Japanese and potentially ruining the song. More than just lyrics have to be changed when you're trying to make it fit in another language (especially Japanese and English because they're very different), so I understand why she did it.

 

A great deal of this album will be in English because of the reason she stated. But I'm not saying there won't be Japanese songs. It's about 50/50 right now.
