Some random info.

Kimi no subete was released August 28, 2008 by Spontania as their 4th single.  It ended up selling around 84,000 copies, and like 2.5 million downloads total I think.

Sunao ni Naretara is the answer song to Kimi no subete ni, and was released by JUJU on November 26, 2008. It ended up selling 84,000 copies. Not entirely sure on downloads, since wikipedia says 2.2 million total, but generasia's is closer to 1.75 million. But it sold a lot and did well either way.

My choice

I prefer Sunao ni Naretara (If I could be honest) a bit more. Maybe because there is a bit more singing. I prefer the answer songs to Spontania's song a bit more than the original lol)

And that ending is flawless, so there's that too.

Also does anyone hear the similarity here?

Same producer so...

Jeff Miyahara?

I kind of hear it. Definitely hear the similar styles, though Kana's song is more peppy sounding. Like most of her songs.

I really like this style of music though, it's the kind I first enjoyed and discovered when I got back into Jpop. Nice thing is that it still sounds good years later.

Yeah, him. It just has this nice, soothing, light R&B sound.

He's produced a lot of songs I like. He produced pretty much all the Spontania songs I like, like this (the answer song Yuna Ito did is better though IMO)

Also songs like Miliyah's Tokyo Star, 4 Minute's Diamond, pretty much all the Jasmine songs I like, and one of my other favorite Kana songs.

Also did the song in my siggy, which is I think JUJU's biggest song.

What I like about the style is that it is soothing and easy to listen to, but also catchy and fun to listen to.
