dvang 23,884 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 people need to stop assuming that everyone who likes red velvet is a sm stan or likes them just because they are from SM......as a semi-SM stan,yeah i had an interest in red velvet when i heard of their upcoming debut because i love the other girl groups from SM primarily SNSD and f(x) and the music they released on regular basis but it was only watching and listening to their song happiness that i started to like them and only after watching their performances that i began to stan them...... as much as i like sexy concepts ,too much of anything gets boring after a while and you need something fresh to arouse your interest in gg scene and red velvet exactly did that for me with happiness plus their visuals are great and they are more than able to handle their own during the performances But most importantly SM could have easily given them a concept like be natural but it would not have helped in distinguishing them from other popular girl groups who are getting more and more indistinguishable everyday by using the same concepts and using those same 2-3 producers in the end nobody is telling you to like red velvet if you don't like them but stop generalizing those who do like them....
