What do you think and if you could say something to this user what would you say? I would like to link the user this forum so that maybe they could see where the fault in this line of thinking lies. People like this always come across as so stupid to me... ironically... because they tend to think they are being progressively candid and intellectual. I've seen it on here plenty of times. But some standards of beauty are based on aquiline features which are pretty outdated as a concept in this day and age. Its interesting that this user finds "big lips" not a standard of beauty when that is one of the most common plastic surgeries requested. Even funnier since the whole reason tanning salons exist is because most pale-skinned people are searching for that elusive glow that mostly comes from having a darker skin colour. Lastly, if anything has been determined by recent trends, bi-racial or racially ambiguous features are now more celebrated than ever before and will soon outstrip traditional standards due to people rejecting those enforced by Western popular culture. Most of the model and "good looking" african people are from Somalia or have more white/arab genetic influence. Somalia and some of the places closer to north Africa/Middle East have more "sharp" features which are desired in modeling. I'd agree people with certain african looks are not that desired in terms of international beauty. It doesn't have to do with being black or not, just facial structure. I'd say it depends where in africa, the gentics, and as always genetics are pretty random so there is chance anyone is ugly or pretty. Modeling / etc generally prefer Somalia, Ethiopia, and African Americans though which are more mixed race than most parts of africa. due to things like the sahara desert and jungles a lot of african places have less mixture and more distinctive African features. Generally the more genetic diversity you will find a lot more stunning looks than in homogenous areas. This is the type of "african" look that movies/fashion/etc usually goes to. AKA sharp features, sharp nose, brown instead of dark black. Just fyi I personally prefer different looks than this, I'm just saying in general this will have more wide appeal because it's mixed features.
